Who Ever Said Life Was Easy?

Life isn't easy.

Life is said to be the most beautiful thing. Well, what if I told you that the life isn't beautiful until you have overcome obstacles you did not believe you could do. Or that life isn't beautiful until you open your eyes into a broad sense of acceptance, passions, and dreams. Nobody said that life would be all rainbows and flowers. The problem is that everyone expects life to be handed to them, but they won't hand it to themselves. Nobody is willing to work, sacrifice, and try to create the best life for themselves. Who said life would be easy? Life should never be easy—if life didn't give you challenges, how would you grow as a person? If you have dreams, passions, and goals in life, nothing will be easy! If you have dreams, passions and goals in life, you must work with your own blood, sweat, and tears to make those things become a reality for you! Life is supposed to be hard. In order to keep moving forward, there are a few things you can do to make it "feel" easier.

Create a Support System!

When I graduated high school, my mother gave me a letter saying,

“It’s time for me to let you fly. Do so with great confidence not simply to make me proud, I already am! Do it to make yourself proud! I’ll be here to give you a boost or pick you up if you fall but you need to trust your wings! Your mountain is waiting!”

As I took a big step into a college campus, alone, and not knowing very many people, my life was preparing itself for stress, failure, heartbreak, love, friendship, and success. If I didn’t have a support system, I know damn well my life would have been horrendous. Having friends and family is the BIGGEST thing to have. How would life be if you didn’t have anyone to share moments with? MISERABLE. If you ever feel alone, do not hesitate to talk to someone. Bottling your emotions inside is just a bomb ticking, waiting to destruct everything in its reach. With a support system, you will have guidance, motivation, ears to listen to you, multiple views, and in general, they are a part of your life that you should love, cherish and not take for granted. People come and go, but loved ones are those who will always stick around to pick you up when you fall and guide you up your own mountain.

Do Not Ever Doubt Yourself!

When life feel impossible, just remember that there is no such thing as impossible! Always go with your gut!! The worst feeling to live with is regretting you could have done something different. Let that little voice inside you be heard and listen to it! I don’t know how many times I have said to myself, “I can’t do this.” My family says, “I can’t means you won’t.” By saying you can’t prevents you from believe in yourself. Why do you think people say that? Because of doubt! If you rid of your doubts and continue to try, you WILL become successful in life.

Live life the fullest!

TRY TO LIVE YOUR LIFE! Do not take it for granted. You are given a life to create, so why let a person, a failure or a doubt knock you down? Everyone will experience some form of failure, heartbreak, or disappointment in life, but you know what? Take those lessons you have learned from your experiences and try again and again until it is exactly what you dreamed your life would be. Go to that school you love, get that dream job you always wanted, go to that party, love that person, and god dammit, just live your life how you want! Be yourself. And by doing these things, you will become happy. There will be bumps in the road, but if you march forward and don’t dwell on the past, you will be so proud and grateful to have lived such an amazing, fulfilling life.
