Every Christmas from 2011 through 2016, I wrote my parents a holiday-themed short story. Out of these five Christmas-loving white boys (plus one Christmas-indifferent girl), who are you most like?

Which Christmas Protagonist Are You?

What are you doing Christmas Eve?

What's your favorite Christmas food?

How would your friends describe you?

Ooh, and pick a fun Christmas outing-activity, for if we weren't in a pandemic.

Pick a Christmas song.

Pick something fun to wear to a holiday party.

One last question: what's your Christmas wish?

You are Kris St. Nicholas, the protagonist of the first ever Christmas story (ca. 2011)! Kris' plot line is that he finds out he's next in line to become one of millions of Santas who divide the task of delivering presents every year. Like Kris, you are fair, sensitive, and giving. Though you may doubt yourself, you're capable of more than you think. You may also find yourself torn in a love triangle! In this case, as in all cases, just follow your heart and all that other cliche stuff. You delivered presents to all the nice list kids of Pennsylvania – what can't you do?

Kris St. Nicholas

You're most like Andrew Emerson, protagonist of the second Christmas story (ca. 2012)! Known as "Andy" to close friends and family, you are disciplined, hard-working, and reliable. You have a keen understanding of the responsibility owed in relationships and try to do right by others. You may also be in love with a girl who works at the mall, Sally Steinman. Don't put a ton of pressure on yourself to get her the perfect Hanukkah present. It'll work out. Andy's main storyline, though, is that he finds a magic reindeer in his backyard. Idk if this will happen to you or not.

Andrew Emerson

You're most like Buckley "Buck" Sessoms, protagonist of the third Christmas story (ca. 2013 I guess?). You really want to be liked and be helpful. You're there for friends at the drop of a hat and would do anything for those you love. An enneagram 2, maybe? If you could give everyone a perfect Christmas, you would. You're someone who needs to invest in some good old-fashioned self care, especially around the hectic holidays. You may also be harboring a secret crush on the captain of the girls tennis team, Phoebe Simms, and you may be thinking, I'm gonna win this girl over with some startling grand gesture. Don't do the startling grand gesture! It doesn't end well!

Buckley "Buck" Sessoms

You are Jamie, protagonist of the fourth Christmas story (ca. 2014)! Like Jamie, you want Christmas to be great, but you're not one of those people who, like, dies over it. You enjoy the arts, have a sensitive mind, and are prone to melancholy, even if your peer group does not reflect as much. You view life as a journey, not a destination, and are content to meander around the corridors. You may also have a big ole crush on the figurative girl-next-door Claudia Ennis. Though you're prone to quiet introspection and are potentially avoidant in your attachments, you're more charming than you think! But she also might leave you at the end of the story. Just please be prepared.

Jamie Kelleher

Oh hey, you're most like West Latham, protagonist of the still-unfinished fifth Christmas story (ca. 2015!). Though your story is, yes, incomplete, and we don't know what becomes of your crush on queen bee Savannah Chastain, you're one of the more lovable protags. You have an optimistic spirit and a can-do 'tude that have made you editor of the Fortindale High School newspaper and star forward of the soccer team. You're kinda goofy and you know it, but you're also a true friend, the peacemaker who keeps everyone together. It is okay to send boundaries in your friendships tho. I dunno if you needed to hear that, but West Latham did.

West Latham

You are most like Hes, the sole female protagonist from the series and star of the sixth Christmas story (2016 or 2017?). You prefer to keep things low key. You're thoughtful, observant, soft, and never know what to do with your hands. As a kid you didn't believe in Santa, but you thought the idea sounded nice. You've got a tight-knit circle of friends and consider them to be family. You might also be in a relationship with a boy named Will whose family is from Montana, forcing you to spend Christmas apart during your time at college. That sucks.
