It was about 10:45 AM on a Monday morning and I was on my typical chores route with a stop at my favorite coffee shop for my daily dose of caffeine. As I walked into my favorite shop, I looked around and noticed how different style really is now a days. People were wearing ripped jeans, overalls, shirts with holes, etc. These daily changes in style is something I always tend to observe because of how frequent its happening.

The Evolution

Style is an evolutionary process that always tends to circle around. What I mean by this, is trends years ago seem to always come back in the future. An example of this is ripped jeans and band tees. In the 70s and 80s, teenagers and adults wore their favorite band printed on a cotton t-shirt and ripped Levis just about everyday. It was the typical outfit and back then it was nothing special. Flash forward 30 years and teenagers this day are spending top dollar for designer jeans with rips and T-Shirts with bands that they don't even know one song by. This isn't the only fashion trend that has rebounded though. Overalls seem to slowly be making their way back into the fashion light. Who knows what the future holds for rebounding trends.

The Future

As a generation with trends rising on the daily, it is impossible to truly tell what direction the fashion world might go in next. New designers are emerging daily and bringing their creativity and art to the fashion world. With each fashion week passing, the world is slowly being introduced to the outfits of tomorrow and what the common outfit for an individual may look like in the future. It is always important to keep up to date with new trends so you can stay on top of your game.
