    "Toilet Roll Only Supplied On First Day”: 16 Vacation Rentals That Probably Had People Wishing They'd Just Gotten A Hotel

    IDK about you, but back in the day, I LOVED booking on vacation rental sites. It felt like such a great value and much more personal than a hotel.

    But lately, I've been feeling a little differently. And after looking at these 16 photos, I think I'm good on booking any kind of vacation rental in the near future. LMK if you feel the same:

    1. This Airbnb host who tried to charge their guests for touching the thermostat.

    Additional rules

    This is mainly short stay place, so we don't expect much luggage with guest. If you have more than 2 big items with each guest, you have to keep in external storage. Visitors strictly not allowed, without prior permission from me! No smoking in the rooms. No use of washing machine or kitchen for guests staying less than 4 days. Washing machine use only once every 4 days for long term guests. Leave a clean room/bathroom prior to departure. Working or studying from home not allowed. Wifi only adequate for making video calls or light internet use. No cooking for washing machine use for guests staying less than 4 days. Toilet roll supplied only on first day. Long stayers will have to do their own cleaning and buying rolls and consumable. Towels available upon request.

    Personal intimacy

    As a deeply religious family, we might insist all unmarried couples do not engage in sexual intercourse or physical intimacy while staying in the house. Of course, this request extends even more forcibly to homosexual guests. There is a selection of 'soft pornographic' magazines in the wardrobe in the main bedroom that guests may use to individually relieve pent up sexual frustrations but we would ask that all masturbatory activity is restricted to the bathroom. Thank you.
