People Who Regret Their College Majors, It's Time To Share Why — And, What You Should've Studied Instead

It's a huge decision, after all.

Choosing a college major is a pretty big decision — not only is it what you'll study for the next 4+ years, but it also can play a huge role in the job/career you'll have later.

Sometimes, people choose a major and have absolutely no regrets. Other times, that's not the case.

So, we'd like to know: Do you regret the college major you chose? And if so, what do you wish you'd majored in instead?

Maybe you decided to be pre-med in college because everyone in your family is a doctor, and now that you're in the field, you wish you would've chosen something you're a bit more passionate about.

Or, perhaps you chose to major in music because it's been your passion since you were a child, but now that you've seen your paychecks, you wish you'd thought to major in something a little more lucrative, like business or STEM (and simply do music as a hobby).

Or, maybe you have absolutely no regrets about your major! Maybe you majored in the thing you're passionate about, and you wish more people had the courage to do so, instead of focusing on which majors make the most money.

Whatever your experience, we'd like to hear it! Tell us if you regret your college major, and why you feel that way in the comments. Or, fill out this Google form if you'd rather remain anonymous. We may feature your responses in an upcoming BuzzFeed Community post.
