Meet The Cast Of The CW's 'Walker'

If they look familiar, that's cause they probably are.

The showrunners of The CW's Walker have put together a stellar cast of actors to bring the reboot of the 1993 TV Series Walker, Texas Ranger to life. Led by Jared Padalecki, this cast features actors from all across TV as well as some new faces. So if they look familiar, that's because they probably are. Meet the cast of The CW's Walker.

1. Jared Padalecki as Cordell Walker

Known for playing Sam Winchester on Supernatural.

Cordell Walker is a tough Texas Ranger with a strong moral code. He is a widower and a father of 2 who is haunted by ghosts of the past. He is determined and at times reckless, but everything he does he does for family. Simply put Walker is "a man finding his way back to his family while investigating crime in the state's most elite unit."

2. Lindsey Morgan as Micki Ramirez

The CW

Known for playing Raven Reyes on The 100.

Micki Ramirez is Cordell's new partner. She was born and raised in San Antonio, she is focused and perceptive and has served in the Army and on the police force. Her family has been in Texas since before it was Texas. She is one of the first women admitted to the Texas Rangers.

3. Keegan Allen as Liam Walker

Known for playing Toby Cavanaugh on Pretty Little Liars.

Liam Walker is Cordell Walker's younger brother. A gay and conservative Assistant District Attorney, he is described as smart, slightly smug, but with a strong moral compass. "Liam and Walker are close, but Liam gives his brother no shortage of tough love. Liam has always stayed close to home, often sacrificing his personal life in favor of his family duties. In Walker's absence, he stepped up to take Walker's kids under his wing. Liam's close relationship with Walker's son and daughter makes Walker slightly jealous." This puts a strain on their relationship He is engaged to Bret played by Alex Landi. ,

4. Mitch Pileggi as Bonham Walker

Known for playing Walter Skinner on The X-Files, Colonel Steven Caldwell on Stargate Atlantis and Ernest Darby in Sons of Anarchy.

Bonham Walker is the traditional rancher father of Cordell and Liam. "He is sturdy, conservative and tough as nails but a family man through and through. A third-generation Texas rancher, he’s most comfortable taking care of business on the ranch — in the bullpen, supervising cowboys, training horses. Bonham is a man who speaks his mind. He’s not about to mince words when it comes to talking to his kids."

5. Molly Hagan as Abeline Walker

The CW / FOX

Known for playing Angel in Herman's Head.

"An unstoppable force of nature. Abeline is a third-generation Texas rancher who is smart and perceptive, she always puts the family first and never hesitates to give advice whether asked for or not."

6. Violet Brinson and Kale Kulley as Stella and August Walker

Known for: Violet is known for her role in HBO's Sharp Objects. whereas Kale has appeared in shows such as NCIS and Blackish. Walker will be the first big starring role for both actors.

Violet Brinson plays Sixteen year old Stella Walker an "emotional and insolent" teenager. Walker’s teenage daughter is "headstrong and smart as hell, she resents her dad for being absent and she’s not about to forgive him anytime soon. Her unrest leads her to ask questions Walker isn’t ready to answer."

Kale Culley plays fourteen year old August Walker. "Sweet, sincere and quietly smart. August rabidly consumes information and is eager to learn any skill that will help, please and impress his family. Unlike his sister, he doesn’t want to cause a stir, In other words, a time bomb." but he too has some unresolved feelings towards his father.

7. Genevieve Padalecki as Emily Walker

Known for playing Ruby in Supernatural.

The last time Jared Padalecki got to act with his wife he was helping Jensen Ackles drive a knife through her heart, this time Genevieve will be playing Walker’s strong, capable and generous late wife who is brave and focused on helping the disenfranchised. "Appearing in flashbacks, Emily is a grounded and authentic hero in the Walker family"

8. Coby Bell as Captain Larry James

The CW / USA Network

Known for playing Jesse Porter on Burn Notice.

Larry James is the Captain of the the Texas Rangers division and Walker’s former colleague, he is "A trailblazer in his division, confident, sharp as a razor. Captain James, as the only African American man in the Austin headquarters and one of only a few in the entire Ranger division, has true grit and a wry sense of humor."

9. Odette Annable as Geri

The CW

Known for playing Samantha Arias aka Reign on Supergirl.

Geri is an old friend of Walker and his late wife Emily. She is a comfort to Walker now that his wife has passed.

10. Jeff Pierre as Trey Barnett

The CW / Showtime

Known for playing Caleb in Shameless.

Trey is Micki’s boyfriend "Warm and loving but haunted. An Army medic recently back from his deployment, he’s doing his best to adjust but it’s not easy. He has a good relationship with Micki; they keep each other honest and know each other better than they let anyone else know them."

11. Alex Landi as Bret, Liam's fiancé

Known for playing Dr. Nico Kim on Grey's Anatomy.

Bret is Liam’s fiancé. "Bret is genuinely in love with Liam, but he thinks Manhattan is the place to be, and that he and Liam should lead a swellegant life where the only horses are in Central Park."

12. Matt Barr as Hoyt

The CW

Known for Hellcats, Harper's Island, Valor and One Tree Hill

Matt Barr will have a reccuring role as Hoyt, Cordell Walker's (Jared Padalecki) best friend. Described as "Hill Country's Han Solo" and a "Lonestar lothario," the two friends will soon find themselves on opposite sides of the law.

13. Gabriela Flores as Isabel

"Stella’s best friend, and Aura and Leonardo’s only child. She and Stella have a strong bond – and they’ve recently gotten into some trouble with the law."

14. Chris Labadie as Jordan, an ex-con

"A hardened, tough ex-con who is in the Green Thumb and Grace program – and he’s also involved in a heroin smuggling operation. He’s a smarmy guy who knows how to get under Walker’s skin."
