    We have all been that shopper at a grocery store stuck staring at the seemingly endless rows of food that seem to catapult themselves into a food-lover’s eternity.

    You pick up a loaf of white bread, put it back, and put a loaf of whole wheat bread in your cart instead. Next aisle. You pick up a bag of popcorn, put it back, and put a box of Wheat Thins in your cart instead. Next aisle. You pick up a 12-pack of sparkling water, put it back, and put 2 gallon water jugs in your cart instead. This pattern repeats itself throughout the rest of the grocery store.

    Every month it seems that there is a new food we have to mentally add to our “Do Not Eat” list. As the list grows longer, it seems that we have two options in front of us: accept that we will never shed those extra pounds or replace all the food we love with bland alternatives. What would you choose?
