The 20 Phases Of Every Lifelong Relationship

How do you keep the spark alive after 10 years of marriage and a couple of kids? Jason Segel and Cameron Diaz do it by trying every sex position known to man, videotaping it, and accidentally sending it to everyone they know. Watch them try to reclaim their footage and their dignities when Sex Tape hits theaters July 18.

1. You can't keep your paws off one another.

2. Things start off unlabeled and fun, but emotions spiral quickly, and before you know it, you've fallen head over heels.

3. You realize that this relationship is more than just a passing fling.

4. You make things official by telling the three Fs (Friends, Family, and Facebook).

5. You start giving each other (cringeworthy) nicknames.

6. You fill each other in on your unabridged relationship histories.

7. You hate their exes.

8. You drunkenly become friends with their exes.

9. You start constantly arguing about stupid little things.

10. You start letting the stupid stuff you usually fight about slide.

11. You move in together. It's cute.

12. You realize that the other person eats, farts, and sleeps like a normal person.

13. Eventually you get used to the fact that you moved in together.

14. You accept that though you're better together, you still have your differences.

15. Now that you're 100% comfortable with each other, you're back to phase 1.

16. After a while, things start getting a little... complacent.

17. You go to extreme measures to spice things up.

18. It doesn't really work out.

19. You're able to laugh about it.

20. And that's when you know that it's forever.

See how Jason Segel and Cameron Diaz spice up their relationship in Sex Tape, in theaters July 18!
