Congrats, you got the Pittsburgh Irish Festival! Occurring in early September to mark the calendar's halfway point until the next St. Patrick's Day, the Pittsburgh Irish Festival was founded in 1991 and takes place at the Riverplex in West Homestead. Vendors and activities engage visitors with Irish music, food, drink, sports, ancestry, education, and culture! Congrats you got Homewood Cemetery! Established in 1878 and one of the oldest cemeteries in the nation, Homewood Cemetery is located in Point Breeze between Frick Park and Squirrel Hill. An arboretum, the cemetery is lined with beautiful trees. Homewood Cemetery is the site of many famous Pittsburgh family graves and mausoleums, including the Frick and Heinz family graves.
