Scotch® GiftWrap Tape
Brown grocery bags
White paint
Foam brush
Pencil
String or twine in brown, white, or red
Decorative accents in your choice
Rustic Look Instructions:
1. Cut out the grocery bag to the size of your gift.
2. Lay out the brown paper flat.
3. Using the remaining pieces of bag, pour a small amount of white paint.
4. Dip the foam brush, then gently dab it.
5. Apply the brush with a mix of hard and soft wipes across the brown paper.
6. Let dry 10–15 min, depending on how much you used.
7. Fold the wrapping paper with the paint showing on the outside.
8. Apply Scotch® GiftWrap Tape to tape them together. 9.
Watch the tape disappear and never interfere with your design!
10. Decorate and apply gift tags as needed.
Polka Dot Look Instructions:
1. Cut out the grocery bag to the size of your gift.
2. Lay out the brown paper flat.
3. Using the remaining pieces of bag, pour a small amount of white paint.
4. Dip the eraser of a pencil into the paint.
5. Apply the eraser on the paper to make dots. Let dry.
6. Wrap the gift, decorate, and apply gift tags as needed.
Santa Look Instructions:
1. Measure the already wrapped gift across.
2. Cut out a strip of red construction or craft paper to fit the width.
3. Cut a square of silver paper that is 2 in x 1.5 in.
4. Fold the silver paper in half. Make 3 cuts along the edges, to take the middle out.
5. Place the silver paper in the middle of the red strip. Tape them together using Scotch® GiftWrap Tape.
6. Turn the strip over. The silver square should be hugging around the strip, to form a belt.
7. Place the strip about ⅓ from the bottom of the gift.
8. Tape the strip at the sides of the gift using Scotch® GiftWrap Tape. It disappears and never shows on your “belt!”
9. Optional: Use the center of the belt as your gift tag.
Classic Look Instructions:
Wrap the gift in your grocery bag.
1. Combine 2 neutral-colored pieces of string or twine together.
2. Wrap them around the back of the gift, and back to the front.
3. Pull one side of string through a gift tag.
4. Tie the string like a shoelace.
5. Use one decorative accent in one color to fasten the gift and knot together.
