The mobile network, the internet, your TV and radio signals, the microwave oven, the visible light - all are EM radiation of different frequencies that we use in our daily lives. The ones we use for daily uses do not have harmful effect on our health but extreme high frequency X-rays and gamma rays in high concentration can be dangerous.

Before buying a shield for electromagnetic radiation, let us first ask, what is electromagnetic radiation?

5G (Fifth generation cell phone network technology) is an advanced version of the mobile signals we use today.

High frequency radiation can be as ionizing as X-rays and low frequency radiation can be as harmless as sunlight. This can describe the whole electromagnetic spectrum or a small part of it. So, this description is not informative enough about the type of radiation the cap will shield from.
