Levi's Granfondo in Santa Rosa

Taking place in late September, the Levi's Granfondo offers three different courses to accomodate cyclists with different levels of experience, starting with the Piccolo route, a 32-mile ride. The longer routes takes riders West from Santa Rosa and along the beautiful Northern Californian coast. As many as 7,500 cyclists participate each year.

The Moonlight Classic in Denver

As the name might suggest, the Moonlight Classic is a night time ride that spans 10 miles through Denver, Colorado. The city closes down streets to traffic to make room for the ride which is open to 4,500 people each year and benefits the InnovAge foundation.

It seems certain people love dressing up as Zombies for every occasion imaginable and why not do it and ride a bike? The annual Zombie Bike Ride in Key West, Florida has attracted hundreds in the last two years for the lighthearted event which takes cyclists to the beach and back in all their ghoulish glory.

Epic Pizza Ride in Portland

The Epic Pizza Ride is a part of Portland's larger Pedalpalooza event which spans 3 weeks and offers up 101 cycling events. The epic pizza ride is just what it sounds like, a fun group ride which takes participants by each of the area's best pizza joints.

Much like the Granfondo, the Los Angeles River Ride offers riders several course options depending on their expertise, starting at a small ride for kids and family, all the way up to a full century (100 miles.) The leisurely ride begins and ends at the Shoreline Aquatic Park in Long Beach and winds through the scenic Los Angeles Griffith Park area and beyond.

The Tulip Pedal in Mount Vernon


No need to go all the way to the Netherlands to enjoy scenic bike rides through tulip fields. As part of the annual Tulip Festival, the Tulip Pedal takes flower and cycling enthusiasts on courses ranging from 20 to 60 miles through Mount Vernon's beautiful fields in bloom every April.

Midnight Madness Fun Bike Ride in San Diego

San Diego's Midnight Madness Fun Bike Ride is a late-August night time ride which benefits community youth programs. Participants of all ages are invited to dress in costumes of their choosing and cycle the flat-top 20-mile route.

The Bike Oregon Wine Country


Many vineyards invite visitors to bike through their property on private tours, but the Bike Oregon Wine Country is a one of a kind event. The yearly event, which attracts several hundred participants each year offers a tour of the Willamette Valley wine country with stops at wineries where riders can place wine orders to pick up at the end of the course.

New York's Five Boro Tour is one of the largest cycling events of its kind. This year, an amazing 32,000 riders are expected to partake in the 40-mile exploration of the Big Apple's many neighborhoods.
