8 Ways To Pamper Yourself This Spring Break In Metro Detroit

Because who doesn't need a little self-care to recharge? Here are 8 things to do around Metro Detroit for the staycation of a lifetime.

    1. Book a room at a fancy hotel for the night.

There are plenty of nice hotels around Metro Detroit to book a room for a night such as The Shinola Hotel and The Townsend. Pack your favorite book, order room service, and take a warm bath for the ultimate staycation.

    2. Go on a shopping spree.

Because Spring Break is meant to break the bank (kidding. Kind of). Head over to Somerset Mall and pick up those shoes you've been eyeing. Or just window shop. That's always fun, too.

    3. Get a blowout.

Head to Drybar or Blo Blow Dry Bar to get that effortless hair you've always wanted. While everyone sits on the beach, you'll come back from break with luscious blown-out hair. Who's really winning here?

    4. Get a Lymphatic Drainage Massage.

Feeling tense after midterms? A lymphatic drainage massage can fix that. Arrive swollen and leave feeling rejuvenated and ready to conquer the week!

    5. Binge watch Netflix.

Hit play on that new Netflix series you've been eyeing. Come on, you know the one. Slap on a face mask, grab your favorite snacks, and be ready to hit "Still Watching?"

    6. Go to an exercise class.

If you're feeling daring, head over to Citizen Yoga or Cyclebar for a butt-kicking workout session. Hey, self-care means getting active too!

    7. Go see a fun show.

It's Detroit! There's always a concert to see with last-minute tickets available. Hit up Ticketmaster, grab your BFFs and go for a night on the town in your best-dressed.

    8. Spend the day doing absolutely nothing.

Relish in the week free of assignments, tests, and homework. Sleep in, stay in your pajamas and eat pizza straight from the box. Who knows when you'll be able to get another day like that?
