Obviously Peggy Carter 100% wins this movie hands down. She brought style and power into a seemingly basic costume. This movie is set in the 40's so the classic knee-length skirt is worn, but the rest of her costume has a modern twist with Peggy sporting a tie and a blazer. She just resonates power in this costume and I am all over it. 10/10 Captain Marvel Polygon / Via polygon.com Does Samuel L. Jackson ever age? Real talk. But honestly, Marvel made this 70+ year old man look 30, and who knows how? I don't. Nick Fury looks like a freaking gem in this movie. Not only can we see both eyes, which is kind of nice after seeing his eyepatch for all the other movies, but he low-key looks like a spy from the 60's and is giving off Men in Black vibes and I'm here for it. Iron Man Pinterest / Via pinterest.com Starting from the top we have miss freaking Pepper Potts sporting this glorious dress from Iron Man 1. Now, I've got to be real, when I first saw this movie, I was quite confuzzeled as to why the costume designers would literally have her in the dresses this whole movie, but this, oh man, this dress is just, chefs kiss honestly. Iron Man 2 SyFy Wire / Via syfy.com Too easy...miss international super spy....Natasha. Her costume was fire, her hair... a bit unrealistic considering how frizzy my own hair can get when I walk outside, but I'm still having it. Of course, her costumes throughout this movie were criticized for hyper-sexualization, and I agree, but this costume, I stan for this costume alone in the movie. Natasha honestly is total fire and she stole the entire movie with this fight sequence in the hall. Such a poser. Thor Collider / Via collider.com He literally looks like a god though. Honestly, taking away his character throughout the movie, Thor looks like one of those models you would find on the cover of a surf magazine (I mean Chris Hemsworth is a surfer so it makes sense). While his character development may have sucked this movie, what Thor lacked in personality, he made up for in his costumes ranging from this pleasure (above) to his modern day wear down on Midgard. Avengers Inverse / Via inverse.com Presenting.... the person with the best comeback lines in the whole movie.... Tony Stark. Tony has a unique style choice, he is opting for this Black Sabbath shirt basically the whole movie, with slim pants, and I am here for it. Despite the simplicity of the outfit, he really rocks it (wink wink). The first half of the movie, he is going for a simple shirt and tie and jacket, which is uncharacteristically Tony, but it really downplays his style choice, and I'm kind of digging it. Thor Dark World Disney Wiki / Via disney.fandom.com A simply terrible movie made slightly better with Jane Foster's great look throughout the movie. She starts off in her Midgard wear, and then, upon arrival to Asgard, is giving the most luxurious outfit that I would loveeee to wear. I mean she looks like a goddess and she's giving off all the vibes of an asgardian princess. Iron Man 3 NY Daily News / Via nydailynews.com 100% Rhodey. Probably an unpopular opinion, but through this movie, he is sporting collared shirts, armor, and slick pants just giving off dad vibes all around. Compared to Tony, who wears the same ripped shirt throughout the whole movie without changing it, Rhodey is hella styling in comparison. This movie didn't have spice in terms of costuming, but where the costuming lacked, Rhodey made up for. Captain America and the Winter Solider Wikipedia / Via en.wikipedia.org I mean do you even need an answer. The obviously answer is the man with about two lines in the whole movie, Mr. James Buchanan Barnes. He honestly is the stereotype of misunderstood temporary villains in the massive franchise: longish back hair, dark clothing, mysterious backstory, and great clothing. While Bucky looks like his eyes got ripped out throughout the movie, his clothing makes up for his face. He has a shnazy vest on the whole movie with nice black pants and, of course, we cannot forget his infamous metal arm. Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 1 Guardians of the Galaxy Wiki / Via gotgmovies.fandom.com I could say Groot, because that last scene was just freaking amazing, and call it a day, but I'm going for Gamora. She is sassy, fun, and an all around amazing dresser throughout this movie. I feel her outfits represent her personality and vice versa. Not to mention, she was the best looking in the prison uniform so 100 points to Slytherin for that. Her costumes are just phenomenal and not an eye sore (cough cough Quill), so she wins for vol. 1. Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 Wonil Song / Via thewon.artstation.com Winning for volume 2 is Nebula. She is sporting this amazing purple cross between a jumpsuit and leather outfit, the whole movie. Matching perfectly with her blue skin and "rough-around-the-edges" vibe, Nebula is outranking her sister for this movie's best look. Avengers Age of Ultron Marvel Cinematic Universe Wiki / Via marvelcinematicuniverse.fandom.com Do I even need to type anything for this one? Clearly Peitro outranks the Avengers, Ultron (although idk if he was even in the running), and Vision. Throughout the movie, Peitro is sporting an iconic sports outfit and I have to give props to the costuming department, because mannn did you make a lot of females swoon over this character just to kill him off. Peitro is giving me a casual and sporty look and I am totally on-board. Ant Man Wikipedia / Via en.wikipedia.org Scott, my man, you are carrying all the dad vibes. I mean, you are a dad so it makes sense, but just your whole vibe was carrying the movie. Scott is hands down the best dressed in this movie having his outfits range from PJ's, to undercover boss, to casual dad in a matter of a few scenes. While casual throughout the movie, the amount of costumes he has, coupled with his iconic ant man suit, makes Scott the man with the looks for this movie. Captain America Civil War FicQuotes / Via ficquotes.com Sam Wilson, man oh man, you're killing all the ladies ( I really hope my Marvel fans out there got that reference). Needless to say, a very underrated, yet show-stopping character in this movie, winning best looks for Civil War is Sam. Not only does he have the best fight scenes but his costuming is just so impeccable, I mean Antony Mackie as a whole is impeccable but even more so here. Black Widow Refinery29 / Via refinery29.com Umm... excuse me?! Where has this character been for the past freaking 13 years?! We are just getting introduced to Yelena Belova! This is a scandal. There is no question in my mind that Yelena is 100% serving the best looks in this movie. Can we also talk about her hair for a hot sec. Its just plain gorgeous and finally.. a movie that showcases female hair tied back during a fight! Imagine that! From her weird outfit in the post-credits, to her solid white costume that makes her look like a literal goddess, to her suit which induces all the bisexuals to panic, she is hands down killing the looks; and the Marvel fans. Spiderman Homecoming Vanity Fair / Via vanityfair.com The clear-cut answer for this movie is MJ!!! She is giving off punk/nerdy/cool but quite vibes and I am here for it. She's giving off the all black punk rocker vibe, and I wouldn't be surprised if that was her song choice as well. I love this version of MJ because she differs so greatly from the other franchise's MJ's portraying her in this bada$$ light. Black Panther VOX / Via vox.com Shuri is giving all the vibes in this movie hands down. From her layered outfits, to high tech weaponry she sport this whole movie, she not only displays her bada$$ery through her clothing, but also through her WOMEN IN STEM vibe <3 She hands down wins this movie. Doctor Strange Vanity Fair / Via vanityfair.com I mean there's a reason people call him daddy strange. Ben Cumberbatch was delivering all the vibes for this movie, from his damsel in distress acts (of which there were plenty) to his 'I am now a clean shaven man' vibes, I think we can safely say, Doctor Strange was not bargaining with these looks. Inverse / Via inverse.com This was a difficult choice, but between Valkyrie or Loki, I think we can safely go for Loki in this movie.... strictly because of his sense of style throughout the movie. Despite Tom Hiddleston rocking the wig throughout the movie, his character of Loki brings us some of the best costuming transitions, and costumes all together, that we have seen so far throughout the past Thor movies. He not only rocks the classic Asgardian look, but he also sports a black blazer at the beginning of the movie along with a classic Saakar-fit. Ant-man and the Wasp Wired / Via wired.com Now let's be real, the Wasp only wore about 2 costumes in this movie, but she damn well rocked it throughout. She is ranked on top because this is the first time we see a female character actually portrayed fighting hand-to-hand with her hair up! Imagine that. (Note: Black Widow was released after this movie) Avengers Infinity War Polygon / Via polygon.com "Noticed you copied my style." -Thor Well Thor.... I have to say... Cap is co-mingling the vibes of "I am a superhero" and also "I am a 50-year old retired dad." Between his new rugged look and his sleek costuming, Steve Rogers takes home the gold for this movie. Avengers Endgame Entertainment Weekly / Via ew.com Let me be the first to say that Clint being Ronin was probably the best thing for his style... and ONLY his style. Clint's got the punk a$$ look which honestly was always a vibe with his personality. Who invented the idea that a former assassin should dress like a farmer, because I certainly did not. Not only is he repping his tattoo sleeve for basically the whole movie, but let's be real, his haircut is just doing him total justice. The Loki Show Inverse / Via inverse.com Her entrance is really all I need to say, but we can go further... Sylvie gives us a look into a different side of Loki... the female side of Loki combining both the comic-book representations of The Enchantress and Lady Loki into her persona. Sophia DiMartino does a brilliant job of embodying this character, but not only that, her insane ability to fight alongside her moveable and conservative costume, makes her one of the first Marvel characters to be most relatable to women (she is not overtly seggualized and she is represents a strong female ba$$ which is what us female fans needed) WandaVision CBR / Via cbr.com What I absolutely adore about this character is that throughout the show is giving us all the time-period accurate costumes while also concealing her true identity. What brings her to the top of this "iconic look" category for this show is this ending scene where she is sporting this comic book accurate costume which she absolutely killsssss. TFATWS Marvel Cinematic Universe Fandom / Via marvelcinematicuniverse.fandom.com Throughout this entire show Karli is sporting the casual yet "I may kill you" vibe. Not only is her character absolutely kick butt, but her costuming is so subtle. For this time of show and for her character it was an absolutely perfect representation for Karli as she needed to blend in and not be found. Not only that, but she looks so edgy yet so comfy at the same time, that I have to ask where she got her clothes from. Shang Chi Empire / Via empireonline.com Not going to lie, but Wenwu stole the show with his costumes. The variation from a more culturally traditional fighting outfit, to his wedding outfit, to his black suit vibes, and then finally his all-black fighting outfit at the end (which tbh gave me Narnia vibes and idk why) was just the tip of the iceberg for this movie. Because we got to see Wenwu portrayed throughout many time periods, and because he has both the most costumes and the vibes that go with them, he is defiantly winning at costuming and looks for this movie. Eternals We Got This Covered / Via wegotthiscovered.com Makkari.... jezzz girl.... you did not stop giving us the looks for this movie. When she is not sporting her traditional red Eternals fit, she is looking like the nicest jock ever with her football jacket and pants. But between her hair, her personality, and her costuming, she is an all-around solid character to give the best looks title too for this movie. Hawkeye Pinterest / Via Pinterest Kate was representing the aesthetics of NYC in the show. When she came on camera wearing this suit and tie I nearly screamed, and then she decided to sport a totally New York chic outfit that she just happened to put together from her aunt's closet. She really knew the meaning of branding throughout this entire show because let's be real, she branded herself into the MCU with these looks. Spider-Man No Way Home Taylor Daily Press / Via taylordailypress.net DW no spoilers. I cannot say this enough... Alfred Molina DOES NOT AGE. Throughout this movie he was giving me a mix between Daredevil and Sherlock Holmes vibes and I was here for it. Doc Oc takes home the gold for this movie.
