Hi, I'm Sarah and I'm a skin care addict who's definitely guilty of being lazy at times. So let me introduce you to a humble product called the splash mask. It takes a mere 15 seconds of your time and you can do it right in the shower.

Basically, if you're anything like me, you loooove skin care but get lazy about doing every single step on a daily basis. For me, I'm *laziest* about masking.

I'm literally Gudetama once I get home from work and post-work events every night. If I manage to wash my face and slap on some essence or moisturizer, I call my night a success. As much as I love my Tatcha Violet-C Radiance Mask and Sulwhasoo Clarifying Mask, sometimes the thought of leaving on a face mask for 20 mins and then sloth-walking from my bed over to the bathroom to wash it off is the last thing on Earth I wanna do.

I love multitasking in the shower, so when I found out that I could mask in the shower, my skin care game changed. I do the usual double cleanse (peep #1 and #2 in the post) almost every night, but I don't do a ~deep cleanse~ very often, which I know my skin and pores need after being bombarded with layers of foundation every day. This splash mask is such a quick and painless option that uses lactic acid and botanical extracts to instantly re-texturize and smooth out the skin, and it boosts radiance over time as well.

And when I say "instantly," I really, truly mean the results are immediate, people. My skin magically feels baby soft and as if three years have been sloughed off. My pores are way less visible and my skin feels properly hydrated, though I still follow up with serum and moisturizer afterwards.

All you have to do is pour 1/2 to one cap-full of liquid into your palms, pat all over your face, and wash it off after 15 seconds. That's right, 15 SECONDS!!!

I only fill 1/3 of the cap because the well of my tiny palm can only fit so much. I also want to maximize each bottle!! I usually half-rub and half-tap the product onto my face and then I pat my face with water, so I slowly dilute the formula over a few rounds before I gently rinse all of it off.

And, as a fair warning, yes it might sting a tad because it's so concentrated, but I promise it won't bother you at all after the first few times. I'm also careful not to overdo it, and only use it up to three times a week. At this point, I feel pretty good with it, so I've upped the time to 30 seconds. Do what feels right for you!

If you prefer to do your skin care routine ~outside of the shower~, fret not! Just pour your splash mask into a clean bowl of water — ideally, a capful requires 700 ml of water, so adjust accordingly! Stir it up with your equally clean fingertips.

P.S. As some reviewers have pointed out, you can also transfer the mask into a spray bottle to really hone in on product waste.
