Cancel That 10-Step Skincare Routine For These Three Products

Because who has the time?? Plus, everything's under $12! Say hello to your new favorite time savers from Burt's Bees, Hada Labo, and Bioré.

We hope you love the products we recommend! Just so you know, BuzzFeed may collect a share of sales or other compensation from the links on this page. Oh, and FYI — prices are accurate and items in stock as of time of publication.

Hi, I'm Sarah, and I love skincare. But since I am SO FORKING* LAZY, abuse my snooze button, and have about 15 minutes to get ready every day, I definitely don't have time for the popular 10-step skincare routine. BUT I'd still like my face to look less like a sleepy garbage face.

Yes, this is my ~done-up~ face but YOU GET THE POINT. Skincare first, always!*Where my fellow The Good Place fans at?

I basically pared down my way-more-extensive nighttime routine to three products for what *I* consider to be the most essential skincare steps: cleansing, moisturizing, and applying a fat ol' layer of SPF.

My motto: Keep it AS SIMPLE AS POSSIBLE (ASAP takes on a whole new meaning here) for my zombie morning brain. I'm not a dermatologist, but these are the basics that I've found work for *my* skin.

I start off by gently swiping a Burt's Bees Sensitive Facial Cleansing Towelette across my face to get my skin back to ground zero and wipe off any overnight treatments or sleeping masks I might have used.

I recently bought a ton of different facial wipes to see if I actually preferred a certain brand/kind over others, and these Burt's Bees sensitive tissues emerged as the winner...for now, at least. Anyways, the point is, cleansing my face over the sink (with my normal water-based cleanser) takes more time and is messier than I'd like it to be when I'm pressed for time, so these wipes are e v e r y t h i n g. I can literally reach for one from my bed and "wash" my face in five seconds, and the slight coolness is a nice wake-up call too (I also like these First Aid Beauty wipes, which have caffeine and matcha in them!). And then my face is ready for everything else I'm gonna haphazardly slather on!PS: In case you're looking for sleeping mask recs, I'm currently obsessed with Origins Drink Up Intensive Overnight Mask and Laneige Water Sleeping Mask. Want even more recs? Check out "25 Moisturizing Sleep Masks And Night Creams That'll Save Your Skin This Winter."Get a 30-pack from Walmart for $4.97 or from Amazon for $4.49 each (Prime Pantry) or three 30-packs for $14.91.

Next up is hydration, hydration, and hydration! I loooove watery formulas, and Hada Labo Hyaluronic Lotion Moist fits — nay, exceeds — the bill. I love my essences and serums, but sometimes a girl only has time for one simple product.

Ok, LISTEN UP. This Japanese brand has nailed the "lightweight but still packs a punch" formula. I can FEEL my skin drinking up the hyaluronic acid like it's been stranded in a desert for years, but I don't feel any residue — aka it really soaks in. I am also a big proponent of lightly patting skincare products into my skin for better absorption, and this particular "lotion" requires the amount of pats for me it takes for me to *really* wake up.

The facial wipes don't leave my skin feeling dry per se, but it definitely needs a bit of a boost afterwards, and this does the job. In case you're wondering, my other go-to hydrator that quite literally melts into my skin is Missha Waterfull Clear Cream, which I write about in "11 Moisturizers You And Your Skin Will Totally Swear By."

Get it from Amazon for $11.36 (free shipping, but not Prime). There's a similar "milky" version that's Prime-eligible for $12.99.

Lastly *switches on the sternest mom voice I can muster*, wear sunscreen every day, because the sun is evil and your skin is too delicate for any and all shit!!! And for everyone who might be worried about heavy texture and white cast, Bioré UV Aqua Rich Watery Essence solves all of your problems.

It needs to be sold in US stores, like, RIGHT THIS SECOND. Anyways, I put on sunscreen every day (minus a few because I'm human, ok??), and I finally stumbled across my ride-or-die. If I haven't already made this obvious, I love super-lightweight, watery formulas, and essence is my favorite skincare product, so it makes sense that I'd be enamored with it in sunscreen form! 😍 This Bioré sunscreen literally sinks into my skin within seconds and it wears under makeup so nicely — as if it's not even there, and definitely no dreaded pilling or weird textures! I've started wearing BB cushions (like the Espoir Pro Tailor Cushion EX) more often, which has SPF built into their formulas, but I feel much safer carving out sunscreen as its own dedicated step for the ~fullest~ effect/protection.Get a two-pack from Amazon for $25.90 (with free shipping, but not Prime).

At the end of the day, whatever works for you and your schedule is the skincare routine that's right for you! As for me:

Lmk what your quick 'n' easy morning routines are in the comments! I'm very open to suggestions. #teamwork
