Today in "Let me check if Mercury is in retrograde because this shit is crazy" news: fast food chain Dunkin' Donuts is officially dropping the "Donuts" from its name, and is rebranding as just "Dunkin.'"
That's right, if you want to get your coffee and donut fix, you'll be heading to DUNKIN' now.

According to NBC News, donuts will still be on the menu, and the chain will still retain its iconic pink and orange color scheme. The name change officially takes effect in January.
Naturally, people had some thoughts about the name change that they couldn't keep to themselves.
