Hornets Last Team In Right Now For The East

February 1, 2017- The Hornets, riding a five-game losing streak, start a big western road trip in Oakland tonight. Tip off is at 10:30 p.m. Eastern Time. The Warriors will get Stephen Curry back tonight after he missed their last game battling the stomach flu. Cody Zeller (knee) remains out of the lineup for Coach Clifford. Without Zeller, the Hornets are 1-10 this season and will need to work on that record if they want to earn themselves a playoff spot this year. The Hornets have dropped from sixth to eighth place in the Eastern conference since starting their second five game losing streak in their last 13 games. The Hornets will need to focus on defense going forward, allowing 105.5 points per game in that recent stretch of games. On the season, the Hornets rank eighth in the league, averaging 103.9 points against. Charlotte will have a tough task the remainder of the week. After tonight's game against the top team in the league, the Hornets will visit the Utah Jazz on Saturday the 4th and will return home to the Spectrum Center to play the Brooklyn Nets on Tuesday the 7th.
