When you're young, everyone who's not in your family can seem big and scary.
But after a while, your folks start to nudge you to at least try to make more friends.
And even though just the idea of talking to other people terrifies you...
...you put on your bravest face and make the best of things.
Soon enough, you're actually playing around with other kids!
(Even though you'll always be a tiny bit self-conscious, you'll be doing muuuuch better than before.)
Because after just a liiiiiittle bit of effort, you can find some real good buddies.
And lunchtime won't be so awkward anymore since you'll have friends to sit (or trade snacks) with.
