These Fill-In-The-Blank Books Are Honestly The Perfect Gift To Give Anyone, Anytime

For someone who spends their entire day writing about products, I consider myself to be a not-so-great gift giver. I always have every intention of giving my friends and family amazing, elaborate gifts, but then end up giving them gift cards, which are fine and all, but not very personal.

In the last few months I happened upon these fill-in-the-blank books from Amazon that come in a variety of themes: for moms, for dads, for someone celebrating a birthday, for a teacher, or a grandma, or grandpa, or any number of other occasions and people!

Each book is tiny — bigger than an iPhone, but smaller than an iPad, (sorry, that's the best object sizing comparison I could think of!), and they all have 50 fill-in-the-blank prompts for you to fill out, to personalize it for the very lucky gift recipient!

What you choose to fill in the blanks with is up to you! You can make it as funny or serious or sentimental or cute as you'd like. That's the fun of it! Only you know the person you're giving it to well enough to know what they'll enjoy.

While I'd love to get around to all the varieties of this book eventually, the two that I can personally attest to are the "What I Love About Mom," and "What I Love About Dad" books.

I have to say these books were the PERFECT gift. They're adorable, personal, and meaningful. It's the kind of gift the recipient can go back and read on a bad day and instantly cheer up from. And the books are affordable, which is always a win!

And just to prove how well-received these gifts are, I personally asked two past recipients — my mom and my dad, who I promise you would be honest with me if they thought my gift was terrible — what they thought.
