Maybe they had props to show how things ~worked~.
Or they talked only in really obvious metaphors.
Maybe it was really technical and business-like, which, in retrospect, is hilarious.
Maybe they averted their eyes and lowered their voice to a whisper-mumble any time they had to say words like "penis" or "vagina."
