Plastic surgery has become much more normalized than it was 15, 10, heck, even 5 years ago. From Botox to lip injections to the super-popular Brazilian butt lift, plastic surgery has become a widely discussed topic.
In 2020, despite the COVID-19 pandemic, 2,314,720Americans had some form of plastic surgery done, including but not limited to breast augmentations, labiaplasty, lip augmentations, tummy tucks, and many, many more.
There's a good chance there are even members of the BuzzFeed Community who have had or considered having plastic surgery done, and that's where you come in!
We want to know: What are some things you wish you knew before getting plastic surgery or general questions you have about plastic surgery?
Maybe you wish you knew that getting a breast augmentation wouldn’t give you completely sky-high boobs because gravity is a thing, and you’d still need to wear a push-up bra to get that particular look.
Or maybe after weighing the pros and cons of a BBL (that's the Brazillian Butt Lift!), you finally decided to get one, and you wish you knew that there's a big chance that you won't see any results for a few weeks before going under the knife.
Or perhaps you've heard from others that Botox will leave you expressionless by freezing your face muscles, and you want to know how true that is before you decide to get Botox.
Heck, maybe you've never even had plastic surgery done before, but you're super curious about if fat can grow back and reverse all the work liposuction does.
Tell us in the comments below (or this Google Form if you wish to stay anonymous) what things you wish you knew before getting plastic surgery or any questions, comments, or misconceptions about it, and we'll have an actual plastic surgeon respond to the best ones.
The best responses will be featured in an upcoming BuzzFeed Community post.
