    People Are Terrified Of WhatsApp's New "Status" Feature Bringing Snapchat To Their Family Members

    WhatsApp just rolled out a new "Status" feature that lets users upload photos, videos, and GIFs that disappear after 24 hours, much like Snapchat Stories.


    Now if there's one difference between the two apps in India, it's the user demographic – Snapchat is mostly teens, while WhatsApp is equally popular amongst older family members.

    And with WhatsApp trying to be more like Snapchat now, it's no surprise that people have had more than a few thoughts about this pivot:
