School is officially back in session! So, Ladylike decided to get in the spirit, channel their inner youth, and do some back-to-school shopping:

They were a little hesitant about school shopping ’cause it had been a few years since it was something they actually had to do.
They remembered some of the inspiration for their looks back in the day.
But oh, how times have changed. So, these ladies decided to do some extensive research on the latest fashion trends before the shopping commenced.
And this time they were doing things without one of the most important critics of outfit choices.
1. The first thing they found that was very in: slip dresses.
2. Second, flannel, and lots of it, which was right up Jen's alley.
3. Also, velvet anything slays.
4. And it seemed like the smaller the better.
5. Is it bad that I have both in my closet and I'm a grown-ass woman?

6. And if you're into sneakers, have no fear: It's the in thing right now.
7. Back in the day, hats were not allowed in school, so what a time to be alive.
When the "first day of school" finally arrived, the girls had those first-day butterflies.
8. But they all looked so fuckin' cute!
Some "students" were definitely feeling their back-to-school looks.
And since they were "upperclassmen," it was only right that they ate off campus.
Because even if back-to-school shopping was exhausting and a little extra, it made the ladies realize how much they actually enjoyed it.
