Not only will it taste fresher, but it's usually cheaper. Also, if you find a fruit or vegetable that you love you can buy it and freeze it for later use.

4. Make a list — and stick to it

Prepping your meals ahead of time can prevent you from throwing random things into you cart. It'll also prevent you from buying unhealthy foods.
