Bitch Planet (2014)

Definitely the most radical comic on the list– Image describes it as "Margaret Atwood meets Inglorious Basterds." The series imagines a future where any woman deemed "noncompliant" is sent to the vast and brutal off-world prison known as "Bitch Planet." Deconnick and De Landro play with and comment on exploitative tropes from women's prison movies of the 70's and 80's. The characters in Bitch Planet are primarily women of color, and the series prominently features trans and gender nonconforming characters as well.
