Uber Jumps The Delivery Gun

First, it drives, then it eats, and now it delivers? The San Francisco-born technology company Uber is on a serious mission to become the Apple of transportation. What are they up to now, you ask? UberRUSH, on-demand local delivery via bike and vehicle! But of course, leave it to them to make a stir in a new market.

So, how exactly do they plan on defeating the evil competition? With dirt cheap prices per mile, no purchase or contract necessary, no minimum, and 80% going out to the messengers. Yep, sounds like the plan for success. Hmm, and how does it work for businesses? Many businesses in NY, San Francisco and Chicago are already focusing more on profits and less on a delivery guy salary.

What about for us? Uber RUSH to the rescue! They can go back to your friend's house and pick up those expensive sunglasses you mistakenly left - and can't live without- or run some annoying errands like pick up your month's dry cleaning.

So, when do they come to my town? Don't expect to put out an effective distress signal in the sky of your city anytime soon! They may have bitten off more than they can chew. Although restaurants make up for the majority of the RUSH orders, they've shut down operations for restaurants and are instead asking them to switch to UberEATS.

Ouch! This may be related to the fact that the company has the same network of messengers for all its divisions. Looks like the "inexperience" villain won this episode. Oh well, we love you for trying Uber!
