I was simply awestruck by the Final Trailer of Aquaman. But by the time the trailer ended, I was like "Wait a minute. I have heard this music somewhere. Oh yes! It's part of Bahubali song "Swapna Sunhere". And that was the trigger moment. One thing led to another and it resulted in this article. Below is link showing similarity in soundtracks.

Resurrection of lost legacy

This scene in trailer of Aquman, a historic statue gets resurrected showing return of Atlantis Empire. Whereas in Bahubali, everyone in crowd starts shouting "Bahubali...Bahubali" while installing the statue. This scene marked return of Bahubali Legacy in Mahismati Kingdom.

Parents from different Kingdoms

While Aquaman's parents are from land and sea. Bahubali's parents, as well, were from different kingdoms. A bit forced connection, but had to complete list of 20 similarities

In Aquaman, the mother wishes that her son would unite the people of land and sea in future. Whereas in this scene of Bahubali, Sivagami tries to save Mahendra Bahubali with a hope that he will save his mother and unite people of Mahismati to its original glory. Reminding the hero of his mother's undying faith

In this scene, Aquaman's uncle is reminding the hero about how his mother used to have full faith in his son that he is very special. Its so much similar to Bahubali's scene where the hero's uncle Kattapa tells Bahubali how his mother always had an undying faith that her son would rescue her.

In Aquaman, everything changes when the hero plunges into the sea and discover the kingdom of Atlantis . Similarly, everything changes when Bahubali does the famous waterfall jump and later discovers the Mahismati kingdom.

In Aquaman trailer, we can see this scene where someone is suggesting that the hero of movie wont be able to win this war. Bahubali received similar response, when he was going on war with the Kallekays. Check out how similar both frames look with same story theme.

Bahubali had an epic ending showing Kattapa back stabbing (in literal and philosophical terms), I have an itching that Aquaman 1 movie would end up with a scene that would set up a base to introduce the movie's 2nd installment in 2020
