Activists Have Climbed Parliament House To Protest Australia's Treatment Of Refugees

They've also poured red dye in the Parliament House fountain.

Protesters have scaled the front of Parliament House in Canberra, unfurling a banner that reads "close the bloody camps now".

The protest appears to be the work of a group called the Whistleblowers, Activists and Citizens Alliance.

They also poured red dye into the fountain at the front of Parliament House.

As you'd expect, there are dozens of police officers and security guards at the scene.

It follows dramatic scenes inside Parliament House yesterday, when Question Time was shut down after protesters superglued themselves to railings in the House of Representatives.

    More to come.
