These Are All The Great Characters Who Will Appear In Avengers: Infinity War

The hype is real.

1. Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr.)

From the very first movie in 2008 up until now. What would an Avengers movie be without Iron Man, the (kind of) creator of the assemble team? Everyone's waiting for sassy Tony Stark to show up in the long awaited sequel.

2. Captain America (Chris Evans)

He is the first avenger, and therefore he shouldn't be excluded from the hype of the year. Oh, and a bonus, he has a beard now.

3. Thor (Chris Hemsworth)

No spoilers here, but whoever has seen Thor: Ragnarok (and sat in theaters through the credits) has to admit Thor's situation is a little bit... crappy? Anyway, if you've already seen the trailer, Thor meets up with the Guardians, so that's supposed to be really awesome.

4. The Hulk (Mark Ruffalo)

And the infamous Incredible Hulk also appears in Infinity War! Although he recently appeared in Thor: Ragnarok, we can't wait to see more of Bruce Banner (and his alter ego of course).

5. Black Widow (Scarlett Johannson)

More Scarlett Johannson please! With the rumors of a solo movie coming up for the female Avenger, we certainly hope she doesn't die in Infinity War!

6. Hawkeye (Jeremy Renner)

We feel bad for Hawkeye because he is the least popular Avenger, and he didn't even appear in the trailer. Fortunately, he appears in Infinity, and we couldn't be more excited!

7. Star-Lord (Chris Pratt)

Peter Quill, the leader of the Guardians of the Galaxy, will be back in the assemble movie! You can't deny a movie with Chris Pratt is a movie with more class, right? Oh, btw, that were all the Chris's on this list.

8. Spider-Man (Tom Holland)

It's pretty obvious Tom Holland is the best Spider-Man yet, right? And after Civil War and Spider-Man: Homecoming, we can't wait to see more of Peter Parker in Infinity War! Oh, and the trailer also gave us a look at Iron Spider, and it is amazing!

9. Scarlet Witch (Elizabeth Olsen)

Scarlet Witch is personally one of my favorite characters. She stole the scene in Age of Ultron and was great in Civil War, and it is said she'll have a pretty amount of screentime in the upcoming Avengers!

10. Vision (Paul Bettany)

Can you picture Scarlet Witch without Vision? Because I can't, and I love the chemistry the two have! And because he has an Infinity Stone in his head, he'll play a big part in Infinity War!

11. Doctor Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch)

Yep, Doctor Strange will also join forces with the Avengers after a solo movie and a short appearance in Thor: Ragnarok. Who's ready to see some magic from the great Benedict Cumberbatch? (I am!)

12. The Winter Soldier (Sebastian Stan)

Yeey, Steve Rogers' buddy and sidekick will be there in the 2018 movie! Maybe we'll see some Bucky/Tony riff-off? Because I would certainly go stand in line fo that!

13. Black Panther (Chadwick Boseman)

We'll see a lot of King T'Challa in 2018, because not only will he appear in his very own solo movie (which will premiere in February), he'll also take on an important role in Infinity War!

14. Loki (Tom Hiddleston)

Ahw, look how happy he is he also gets a part in Infinity War! Yep, Thor's step brother is also appearing in what will become the best movie in the entire world (probably even topping Mean Girls)! "But he's evil!" I can hear you say. "And he's holding the Tesseract in the trailer???" Only time can tell...

15. Gamora (Zoë Saldana)

A father-daughter reunion is coming up in the new Avengers! Will Thanos hunt Gamora? We hope things work out OK for our favorite green alien and member of the Guardians of the Galaxy!

16. Drax the Destroyer (Dave Bautista)

Our loveable and dumb Destroyer is back for Infinity (because that's how I'm going to call it now)! Expectations: He'll destroy a lot!

17. Groot (Vin Diesel)

He'll be all grown up by the time Infinity hits theaters, and it's notv really Vin Diesel's biggest acting job, but Groot is super loveable, and we can't wait to hear the lines "I Am Groot" again!

18. Rocket Raccoon (Bradley Cooper)

What would Groot be without Rocket Raccoon? Probably a stick TBH, but he's totally both the cutest and most dangerous raccoon you've ever seen, and the Guardians wouldn't be complete without him!

19. War Machine (Don Cheadle)

Tony's pal, who entered the Cinematic Universe in 2010's Iron Man 2, will certainly be back in the assemble movie!

20. Falcon (Anthony Mackie)

He fought alongside Steve and Natasha in The Winter Soldier, against Ant-Man in Ant-Man and against (and with) The Avengers in Civil War, and now Anthony Mackie is back for Infinity!

21. Ant-Man (Paul Rudd)

After his solo movie, Ant-Man could join Team Cap in Civil War, and he's certainly back to fight Thanos in Infinity! Paul Rudd's awkwardness will only make the movie better than it already is (or is going to be).

22. The Wasp (Evangeline Lilly)

Yesss, here she is, in her new suit! We already got the chance to enjoy Evangeline Lilly in Ant-Man, but now, she puts on her Wasp suit and is joining the Avengers! And a bonus: She can't be killed off, because she has yet to appear in Ant-Man and the Wasp in July 2018.

23. Mantis (Pom Klementieff)

Yeey, the beloved mindreading weird alien woman from Guardians of the Galaxy 2 is going to be in the assemble movie! I want her to read Thanos' mind, I really want her to.

24. Nebula (Karen Gillan)

Nebula's bad-ass sister and Thanos's evil daughter is in Infinity! We don't know if she's gonna be on the good or the bad side, and that's reason 154783 to jump ahead to May 2018!

25. Valkyrie (Tessa Thompson)

When you take a look at the past few characters, you know the movie will include a lot of bad-ass superheroe women. And now there's another one! Valkyrie's pretty new in the Universe (she first appeared in Ragnarok) and we look forward to see her team up with the Avengers!

26. Wong (Benedict Wong)

Yep, Doctor Strange's buddy and sidekick is also appearing in Infinity, and we're rooting for some Wong - Stephen Strange sass!

27. Okoye (Danai Gurira)

The leader of the Dora Milaje has yet to appear in Black Panther, but Danai Gurira has already signed up to appear in Infinity. Told you there'd be a lot of bad-ass women in the movie!

28. Shuri (Letitia Wright)

TOLD YOU! Just look at Shuri, and you'll see she's ready to kill Thanos with one hand (or with one shot from those weird panther-looking gloves)!

29. Pepper Potts (Gwyneth Paltrow)

After a short appearance in Spider-Man: Homecoming, our favorite CEO of Stark Industries will be back for Avengers: Infinity War! Is she going to marry Tony? Beause I will be there if the Avengers have to attend a wedding...

30. Nick Fury (Samuel L. Jackson)

What would the Avengers be without their angry black daddy, Nick Fury? Appearing in all Avengers movies, Samuel L. Jackson does not let Infinity pass without him turning up!

31. Maria Hill (Cobie Smulders)

Maria Hill (or Robin Sherbatsky if you prefer) will be back for the 2018 assemble movie, as the bad-ass sidekick of Nick Fury. Ready to see some special agent action?

32. M'Baku (Winston Duke)

Winston Duke has yet to appear in Black Panther alongside Chadwick Boseman and Michael B. Jordan, but he has already signed up for Infinity. We can't wait to see Man-Ape on the big screen!

33. The Collector (Benicio del Toro)

The Collector will probably play an important part in the new movie, since his hobby is collecting Infinity Stones... And Benicio del Toro's performance is reason 154784 to go see it!

34. Thanos (Josh Brolin)

Big bad guy Thanos is literally the resaon the movie is being made, and he is porrayed by the great Josh Brolin. We saw brief appearances of him in Age of Ultron and Guardians of the Galaxy, but he'll have a leading role in Avengers 3!

35. Stan Lee (Stan Lee)

No need to explain, because everyone knows his performance will be the best part of the movie. Reason 154785 people.
