3 Important Life Lessons We've Learned From Eclipsa Butterfly

Disney hit cartoon Star Vs. The Forces of Evil, created by Daron Nefcy, has had a big influence on viewers and animation has a whole since it started in 2015. It has gained abundant popularity and recognition worldwide. As the show will come to a conclusion this May, fans around the globe are sad to see it end but are glad to witness an amazing story made from its crew's incomparable artistic talent and hardwork that gave life to the plot, the places of significance in the story (Earth and Mewni), and the wide diversity of characters. Truly, Star Vs. The Forces of Evil will always be remembered as a show that made cartoons of this time so enjoyable for everyone and as a product of creative expression and teamwork among fantastic animation artists and writers. On this list I made, a character named Eclipsa Butterfly, Queen of Darkness (voiced by former Game Of Thrones star Esmé Bianco) had become a vital character in the show in its last two seasons and no doubt made huge importance to the storyline. As we see her in the recent episodes and know about her origin, her daughter Meteora and her husband Globgor, many of us were able to relate to her background, personality and struggle to be accepted and trusted by the citizens of Mewni now that she is the new queen. Here are three key lessons we have learned from Eclipsa that will definitely help us in our daily lives.

1. Never lose hope, Think positive.

Eclipsa was longing to be with her daughter Meteora again. Despite the turmoil of Meteora's sinister monster form terrorizing everyone, her optimism and determination helped her change Meteora back into her innocent infant self thanks to the powerful Royal Wand which she now owns that was previously wielded by Star Butterfly.

2. Don't be undervalued what others think of you, you're amazing and perfect as you are. Let all your emotions out.

The new Queen of Mewni, it is of course a massive responsibility. Most of the Mewmans however, still distrust and disown her because of her dark past, but this did not degrade her reputation, Eclipsa remained true to herself and everyone she cares about, and she did not hold the scorning and hate in her. She let out what she felt through a heartwarming song ("Here I Am") which we really loved. I would like you to listen to this song whenever you are feeling down.

3. And most importantly, Family is love.

What else is better than Eclipsa being reunited with Meteora and now Globgor who has been freed? It turns out he is not bad after all. He loves her wife and her daughter immensely with all his heart. Because of this, Mewni has warmly welcomed and accepted him, and Eclipsa's family is finally together again. This reminds us that our first best friends are our family, and family love is the most important love we receive and give.
