We've all been there. Totally engrossed in a movie or TV show, feeling all of the feels, ready to base our whole personality on it for the next few months.
It seems like it's just going from strength to strength. The casting? Excellent. The direction? Tip-top. The score? Chef's kiss.
And then it happens. A totally fourth-wall-breaking, eye-wateringly out-of-place mistake.
Maybe it's something pretty trivial, but once you notice, you just can't take your eyes off it.
Or maybe that time when it was revealed that even the Queen of Dragons herself loves a lil' Starbucks fix from time to time.
Sometimes, it's an absolutely ginormous blunder that you can't believe got past the editors.
Whether it's a continuity error, a plot hole, a dodgy prop, or an editing mistake, it can totally take you out of that immersive experience of a well-constructed movie or show.
