True Life: I Planned A Trip To Coachella To See Beyonce And Then Beyonce Cancelled.

Part 1:

My family is obsessed with Beyonce.

Sure, a lot of people can agree with this statement. But when I say my family is obsessed with Beyonce, I mean we are so obsessed we literally commissioned an artist to paint a portrait of her just so we could hang it in our house. Here she is in all her glory:

So naturally, when the 2017 Coachella lineup was announced, I was ecstatic. I bought tickets the day they were released and and booked my flights. It was happening.

I WAS GOING TO SEE BEYONCE PERFORM AT COACHELLA.

I've seen her in concert three times before but I haven't yet seen her perform Lemonade and I was just so excited I proceeded to tell every. single. person. that I have ever known.

Part 2:

Things were good for a while.

I proceeded to buy myself an entire Ivy Park outfit to wear for the day she was headlining, despite still having many months to go before Coachella itself. But hey, I was excited. Can you blame me?

Little did I know, a bomb was about to drop...

RING THE ALARM! RING THE ALARM! BEYONCE IS PREGNANT WITH TWINS!!

It was all I talked about for days. AND JUST IMAGINE HOW AMAZING IT WILL BE TO SEE HER PERFORM AT COACHELLA WHEN SHE IS PREGNANT WITH NOT ONE, BUT TWO BABIES. HOLY MOLY.

Beyonce cancels her Coachella performance.

My heart is broken. My world is shattered. I may not ever recover. Think I'm being dramatic? You don't know dramatic until you've seen me lying on my floor audibly sobbing after hearing Sandcastles for the first time.

I know she's pregnant with twins and I respect her decision, but that doesn't make my heart hurt less. Where will I wear my bangin' Ivy Park outfit now?

And the worst part?

Idk if I will ever get to see Beyonce perform Lemonade now and that possibility keeps me up at night.
