We're Not Quite Sure Why You Don't Own These 30 Genius Walmart Kitchen Products Yet

With these, your Cooking 4.0 is in the bag.

    1. A microplane great for zesting and grating hard cheeses, but that's also the GOAT for garlic, in my opinion. Running a clove along the grater is much easier than chopping, and (to get scientific for a minute) it breaks down a ton more of the cell walls, so the garlic flavor in your dish will be a lot stronger.

    2. An Instant Pot Duo that's actually sort of misnamed because it's more of a septet than a duo — aka the SAT-word way of saying that instead of two functions, it has seven (pressure cooking, rice cooking, slow cooking, yogurt making, steaming, sautéing, and food warming). And it performs all of them flawlessly!

    3. A bottle of Hot Ones chili-maple hot sauce so you can recreate the experience of being on the show for yourself — this is the actual sauce they put on the first wing! Interview questions not included, but you can invite a friend to join in or interview yourself, like a cooler version of my childhood fantasies of being on NPR.

    4. A slow cooker and party dipper duo with programmable options, so you can set your pot roast to cook for four hours and still have it done at dinnertime, even if you'll be out of the house for eight hours. Plus the party dipper is cuuuute, and you'll be the star of every event you show up to with this baby full o' cheese dip.

    5. A rotating turntable perfect for spices, condiments, and more — basically any tiny containers that you don't want to have to sort through to see the ones in the back. Just give 'em a spin!

    6. A gooseneck kettle so we Americans can stop horrifying Europeans by heating water up in the microwave. Plus, the shape is perfect for pour-over coffee, in addition to traditional kettle uses like tea or instant noodles.

    7. A cordless hand mixer for a radical change in your baking life. Never again get tangled up in a cord while you're just trying to whip up a batch of muffins. It's like going from wired earbuds to AirPods — you won't believe the difference.

    8. A BlendJet portable blender so you can have your smoothie any time, any place, with just the push of a button. It's also great for milkshakes and fancy frozen coffees, when fruits and veg aren't the vibe.

    9. A set of colorful cutting boards because cutting up your salad ingredients on a board that had raw chicken on it is a huge food safety mistake, and easily avoidable if you know meat only goes on the red cutting board. Plus they're flexible to easily transfer ingredients into a pan, and super grippy so they won't slide around as you chop.

    10. And a color-coded knife set you can also use to avoid cross-contamination, or just to add some fun and excitement to your utensil drawer.

    11. A 4-cup food processor with all the speed and power of the full sized machine, but without the bulk. You can shred veggies, make dips, even work with dough or make butter from scratch, and without throwing your back out trying to lug a hulking monster out of the cabinet.

    12. An enameled 5.5-quart cast-iron Dutch oven that'll totally change the game for your soups and braises — plus, it's one of the secrets for getting homemade bread with a great crust. And when it's not in use, it can totally double as a pretty decoration for your stove top.

    13. A spiralizer so you can eat your veggies in noodle form, which everyone knows is the most fun form. Whether you use them as a pasta sub, or just as a side on their own, you won't be disappointed.

    14. A countertop ice maker because there's no substitute for an endless supply of The Good Ice. All your beverages will thank you.

    15. A rolling garlic chopper if you're likely to also end up microplaning your fingertips. (I've been there.) This'll get the garlic chopped super fine, and TBH it's really fun to use.

    16. A knife sharpener so you can improve your chopping and your kitchen safety. Not only will you no longer maul a tomato trying to dice it, but sharper knives are actually much safer, and less likely to cause injury.

    17. An anti-fatigue mat because there's nothing worse after a long day on your feet than standing on the hard floor to cook or do dishes. This lil' guy will provide just the right amount of extra cushion to keep you going until you can flop in front of the couch and finally relax.

    18. An egg cooker that can make boiled, poached, and scrambled eggs, as well as steamed veggies and dumplings, all with basically no effort from you. Breakfast just got sooooo much easier!

    19. An immersion blender and mini food-processor set because transferring hot soup into a regular blender is always dicey — with this, you can just do it right in the pot! Immersion blenders also work great for sauces, smoothies and milkshakes, so you can really just replace your old machine and save a ton of space to boot.

    20. A food chopper that'll save your poor eyes from all those onion fumes, while also ensuring an even dice every single time. Plus it's kind of satisfying to use, especially if you need to work out some aggression.

    21. A countertop griddle to make weekend pancakes the easiest breakfast of the week. The large surface area makes them so much easier to flip, plus it's nonstick and dishwasher safe so you won't be scrubbing for hours afterwards.

    22. A bread making machine because your March 2020 sourdough starter might be long dead, but you still deserve fresh bread, especially the kind you can have at the touch of a button.

    23. A motion sensor trash can so you don't have to get ick all over the lid when you throw away meat packaging, eggshells, or anything else. Just wave, drop it in, and then immediately go wash your hands, because yuck.

    24. A handheld vacuum sealer that's much more convenient than the larger countertop versions, but still seals just as well. You'll be able to portion and freeze meals to your heart's content, or even prep meats for sous vide.

    25. A SodaStream because carting all that La Croix from the store isn't good for your back, your wallet, or the Earth. It's super easy to make your own sparkling water at home, and you can flavor it to exactly your preference.

    26. A breakfast sandwich maker to make your morning cravings achievable, all in one step. Just load in your English muffin, egg, and any meats and cheeses that tickle your fancy, let it run, and blam! Breakfast bliss.

    27. A sous vide cooker — let me introduce you to the easiest way to perfectly cook proteins, without them ever overcooking or drying out. Just put this stick into a large pot or container full of water, and it does all the work, keeping the water at an exact temperature, so it's impossible to cook unevenly.

    28. An air fryer-toaster oven combo because it's the best of every world — you get the crispiness and speed of an air fryer, the convenience of a tiny oven, and you can still make toast (better yet, you can watch your toast and stop it at the perfect toastiness level).

    29. A KitchenAid stand mixer to finally make your bougie baking dreams a reality. You can whip up cakes, cookies, breads, and more in no time, and that's just a start! This workhorse makes so many tasks easier — you won't know how you lived without it.

    30. A countertop compost bin that'll contain all your organic scraps without letting odors escape. In addition to being good for the Earth, it also means that you'll end up having to take the main kitchen trash out less often, since most everything that could get smelly is going in the compost bin instead.
