Promising review: “I've had this in pink for several months now, carrying it everywhere I go, and it looks brand new. I dropped it on concrete one time while carrying groceries and it didn't even scratch it. It is 100% worth the money. I use it to keep my medications safe and locked up. The dimensions are perfect for something like this. I carry it everywhere and I've only gotten compliments on how awesome it is. Nobody's ever asked 'why are you carrying around a safe.' They're more like 'that's awesome where did you get that?' I expected it to be much easier to break into but we tried as a test and couldn't do it. So no child could ever get into it and an adult would likely have to use a hammer to break into it. That's how sturdy it is. It comes with 2 keys, if you lose both they will send you an extra one. I will use it at the beach for my phone, wallet, and keys as well soon. They all fit easily in it.” —DLD26

Promising review: “I am a public transport commuter and carry laptops, USB drives and other belongings every day. I was pickpocketed several times and had to take off my old bag while riding the bus or metro and pay attention to it. Not with this bag! I tuck away my valuable things in the pocket that faces my back and therefore cannot be opened while I'm carrying the bag. Also the front zip disappears to the sides, and it's practically impossible for someone to open without me noticing it. It's also the only bag I found that had two pockets on the shoulder straps for my plastic cards on the left and public transport card on the right side. Perfect!” —Amazon Customer

Promising review: “I love this secure way of carrying and concealing my personal belongings. I am able to easily store and access my money, credit cards, lipstick, and rather large LG cell phone. The zipper features keep my small and larger items securely in place with no fear of them falling out. The material is soft, sleek and stretchable unlike other 'money belts' which makes it easy to wear under garments. I would highly recommend this product for travelers (like myself), athletes, people who don't carry traditional purses (like myself), and those that enjoy night life events such as clubbing. If keeping your hands free and not having to constantly be concerned with where your purse, wallet or cell phone are is your goal, then consider this a well made product.” —Amazon Customer

Promising review: “If you, like me, are one of those people who resorts to using the same password for everything because you inevitably forget them all, or you are forced to change your password to some new and horrible beast by the computer gods (punishment for all the times you've forgotten it in the past, and no, you can't reuse a password you used six months ago you cretin), then this is the book for you! My brain is a sieve when it comes to important memories. I keep a regular journal to remember all the important people and places in my life, and decided it was time to do something about the important passwords as well. This book is small enough I can keep it in my pocket, or discreetly placed in my daybag, or cleverly hidden somewhere in my bookshelf where I am likely to lose it. I may even leave some clues in it to the secret organization I forgot I was a part of...” —Hannah Ferguson

Promising review: “I'm a nursing mom and my employer was unable to provide me with a private room with a door that could be locked from the inside. Also due to meeting schedules, I would have to sometimes move around and use different rooms in the office. After being walked in on multiple times, I purchased this product. It is easy to install and remove. Gives me the security I need to avoid an awkward situation with colleagues and without needing my employer to permanently alter multiple spaces to accommodate me.” —Amazon Customer

Promising review: “These are fantastic. VERY loud. I put one at the front door without telling my wife while she was out. She came in, the door wouldn't open past it, and the alarm went off. Not only did it scare her, but I was napping in the den and it scared the crap out of me too! Fantastic door alarm that no one should be without in my opinion, even if you have an alarm. I travel a lot for work, and having one at the door in the room is extra peace of mind. Inexpensive enough for you to supply for your family, and even friends.” —Xfiler

Promising review: “Very pleased with this book box! It fits in with the rest of my books beautifully. You wouldn’t know that it’s any different from the rest unless you picked it up and fiddled with it. The cover feels like a real book. The pages are kind of fake looking, but you can’t see them while it’s parked in the bookcase. I ordered the small size and it fits cash perfectly. I’ve come back and ordered the large as well. I feel so much better about camouflaging some of my valuables amongst my hundreds of books rather than say, in my underwear drawer or someplace else that isn’t as sneaky. I love it and it is perfect for what I wanted it for.” —Amazon Customer

Promising review: "Just what I needed. These suckers are LOUD and easy to install. Installation took a whole two minutes — for both doors! I bought these because I have an adventurous toddler with older siblings who often forget to shut the door and we live on a very busy street. And while my 14-month-old can't open the front door yet, he'll be able to soon enough. Three modes: Off, Chime, and Alarm. There is no volume control and the alarm mode is about as loud as a fire alarm — you will hear this go off anywhere in the house! The chime just dings twice and then you can leave the door open. The Alarm setting will not shut off until the door is closed again. I attached the alarms at the top of the door so the kids can't reach them.” —Thrilled Mama

Also, while this safe clearly can survive a fire, it's not specifically rated as fire- or waterproof. If you're relying on it to keep documents safe, it might be smart to store them in a bag with a 1000+ degree fireproof rating, like this $29.95 one (also from Amazon).
Promising review: “This security door stopper works great. I did test the product to see if I could open the door from the other side while the stopper was lodged against the doorknob. With mild to moderate force the door did not budge, even with the doorknob turned. The frame is easy to adjust and holds steady once snapped in place. I certainly cannot open my sliding doors when this is in place. I highly recommend this product if you are looking to keep your doors sealed and want to add a little piece of mind while you rest or go away on a trip.” —Robert Locke

Promising review: “This is my 2nd RFID wallet, the first one being very similar but having much darker leather. I love the look and feel of this product and it is functionally exactly what I was looking for. I put 'See ID' on the back of all my credit cards vs. signing them and the two way flip up window gives easy visual access to my driver's license when I use a card. A bonus of the lighter color is that, even in low light situations, I can spot the wallet laying on a table or desk or car seat vs. it blending in and perhaps overlooking it as I leave. All in all, this is a great wallet at a very affordable price.” —Lennyk

Promising review: “Great case! Plenty of room for a carry-on bag. LOVE the built-in lock! Did not have to worry about TSA or airline breaking the lock. Hard-case style is another security that gave me piece of mind because in my travel, I was made to check the bag because I was told 'there was no room for my bag in the over-head storage.' Great bag. Great price.” —Jubilee

Promising review: “We ordered this camera on Thanksgiving just because it was on sale. It was delivered by Saturday and I installed it immediately. Sunday my family and I went out of town and I was excited to be able to watch our dog through the cloud cam app. On the way home Sunday evening, I received a notification that motion was detected. I opened the app and saw that my house had caught on fire and my dog was stuck inside. After calling 911 and a neighbor to break in to rescue our dog, I reopened the app to see the entire room filled with smoke and the fire blazing in the kitchen. Luckily this app saves videos for a week so I was able to share them with our fire department. I was also able to download the videos as well as zoom in to see what caused the fire (my dog hit the stove burner on). The camera is now melted and ruined, but I am forever grateful. I will order another one when we can live in our home again. Thank you Amazon for the sale and thank the universe nothing worse happened!” —William young

Promising review: “I'm very impressed with this lock! The last 'outdoor' combination lock I purchased did poorly when it rained and then froze. This one, though, has had no trouble with any kind of weather, always opening easily. The combination is easy to read, with raised numbers that even make it usable (with patience) in the dark. Unlike some locks, there's no chance of thinking it's locked when it's not. It can only be closed when its unlocked, and it will pop right back open unless the dials are moved. In other words, if your combination is 1111, it has to be at 1111 to close it, and then it won't stay closed until you spin it to some other number. Setting the combination was easy, and does not require a special tool.” —SarahLawrence Scott

Promising review: “Four years in and this lock has stopped countless robberies. I have a camera on my bike where is it locked up outside of my apartment in Brooklyn. It has survived against crow bars, hammers, a hack saw, and even a BIC pen. I didn't think the high price would be worth it but this is the absolute longest i have owned a bike in NYC. Couldn't be happier with the buy.” —Justin Branco

Promising review: “As a part-time locksmith for many years, I have learned most residents are clueless how easily, quickly, and quietly the vast majority of key locks may be opened without the proper key. This simple device offers a huge increase in security, while one is home or sleeping at night. But it only functions on doors which open into the room which you are protecting. It also helps reduce kicking in doors, which often now is a favorite way crooks attempt to enter buildings. If mounted high up, it discourages young children from leaving the house on their own, letting in strangers before the parents make it to the door or from entering the parents' bedroom unannounced.” —Doug from RI

Promising review: “This is a really good money belt. I like it because it's unisex so both me and my husband can use it, though I'm going to get him his own. It is easily adjusted for different sizes. I like it when I go out for the day in the city walking about and shopping as I don't feel safe with my money in my pocketbook. There is plenty of room in the zipper to put my cash. I don't have to take it off to get out my money as it can easily be turned to access the contents without removing the belt.” —Pamela

Promising review: “My wonderful wife frequently uses a mandoline in the kitchen. Sometimes, I believe she thinks she's on Top Chef or Chopped. When she gets into julienning, I'm just waiting with car keys in hand to take her to the ER. So, as a proactive measure, I purchased these. They are quite comfortable. They stretch with excellent elasticity. She loves them and I feel more comfortable that she is wearing something that can protect her. She has used these gloves dozens of times. Not a single issue and she has washed them with the kitchen towels. No problem. For about $10, it's a great safety tool for the kitchen.” —Jon

Promising review: “What a great buy! Bought them as a precaution that our bags wouldn't make it in one piece (we've heard horror stories). On the way there I used on a large duffel and in the return trip things didn't go as planned and ended up using them on a cardboard box because we brought back way more than what we had initially planned for. The box was in pretty rough condition but the straps kept that thing together! Very adaptable to size we needed and super sturdy! Oh also, as a small bonus it helped us spot our black duffel amongst the many black bags.” —Yesi L
