You're looking for a roommate. Which person is your least ideal candidate?

You want at least one piece of brand new furniture. Which is most important to you?

You look through your bathroom Pinterest board. Which pin will help you design your bathroom?

You finally get settled and would like to cook your first meal in your new kitchen. What'll it be? 

Yes, yes, I know. You call your friends all the time. But this time, make it a goal to call them and actually get into an in depth conversation about something new. It could be about anything you want, but the most important part is that you don't want this to feel like any regular phone call. Stepping out your routine is a great way to beat the blues.

Do I hear in home spa day? There isn't just one way to treat yourself. Whether it's fixing your favorite meal that you don't get often, or shopping online for something totally unnecessary but really cool, or getting all pretty for an artsy photo shoot in your backyard, do it up! Life can really take a toll on you so don't be afraid to just do something for yourself every once in a while.

Wouldn't it be so cool if you knew High Valyrian and Klingon??? Well, maybe that's reaching a little far, but I know there's at least one non-fictional language you always wish you spoke. Whether it's German, Portuguese, Igbo, or Korean, you'll feel like a superstar when you can *officially* add bilingual to your resume. And if that starts to feel like a chore, pretending to speak Simlish for a bit sounds cool too.

Learn a new language

If you've written songs before then you know how soothing it can be for the soul. It's like staring at your emotions but on paper. Finally, something that understands how you feel. Or you can take the alternative route a write a song about something that has nothing to do with your life but just sounds catchy and makes you want to dance. Whatever floats your goat, just give songwriting a try next time you feel down in the dumps.
