Recently, Dr. Dominique had the unique opportunity to travel to the Gulf of Mexico with Dr. Guy Harvey (yes, that Guy Harvey) to help save and tag Mako sharks.

Tagging sharks is important to track their movements and behaviors since it is estimated that 1/4 of shark species are threatened due to overfishing.

We’re talking the world’s fastest shark species.

Mako sharks can travel 30+ miles per day and are famous for leaping out of the water.

Not only that, but Dr. Dominique also jumped into the water to cage dive with the World’s. Fastest. Shark.
