I love a deal as much as the next person. Dollar pizza? Sign me up. Off-brand sneakers that are the same shoe with no logo? Hell yeah, gimme those "Blair Shmordans." But there are instances where spending a little extra really does pay off in the long run.
Which leads me to ask: what products have you bought that you're SO thankful you spent a little extra money on? You got a little fancy and it TOTALLY paid off.
Maybe it's a piece of cookware like a Le Creuset stainless steel pan — it cost you a little extra dough but will truly be with you for the rest of your life.
Or a pair of Madewell jeans you were a little nervous about running that card for but *actually* fit and don't make you want to cry every time you put them on.
For me it's a Stila eyeliner pen — they're definitely more moolah than a drugstore brand, but oooo baby does it make that cateye sharp.
