    1. A pair of buttery-soft jeggings, because feeling like you're wearing leggings out and about while looking like you're wearing some chic denim is the most fulfilling con you can pull.

Reviewers suggest sizing down if you're debating between two sizes.

Promising review: "These are fantastic. They fit as expected and feel wonderful on — soft and comfortable. They really are great. No pockets in front, which aggravated me at first but it makes sense since they would just look weird given the legging style. Love these." —JannaLyn

Price: $39 (available in sizes 24–34 and two washes)

    2. MAC Viva Glam lipstick, so you can *finally* rock the perfect, wearable red lip. I personally cannot get enough of this lipstick and wear it alllll the time. Let's match!

Nordstrom, Rachel Dunkel / Via BuzzFeed

To me, "red lipstick" is synonymous with "Viva Glam." It's been my go-to and, now that I'm thinking about it, pretty much only red lipstick since I first swiped it on many, many years ago. Put on alone, it's a deep red in a perfect, velvety matte — never drying, but boy does it STAY on. Applied over some basic lip balm (as in the photo above), the color brightens a bit and the texture is smooth and absolutely heaven. My personal style has changed a lot since Viva Glam and I originally crossed paths, but it's remained a constant in my purse, always ready to polish off a look and make me feel like I can take on the world.

Price: $19 (available in three shades)

    3. A Kendra Scott birthstone necklace to add a little pop of color to your usual silver and gold jewelry — well, depending on what month you were born in, that is. But shhh...I won't tell if you just want to get your favorite color instead of your birthstone.

Promising review: "The Elisa Birthstone necklace is wonderful! I bought the citrine color and it is beautiful. The length is just what I wanted- Longer than a choker but not too long. It makes a great everyday necklace and also makes a great gift." —Eseg

Price: $50+ (available in 13 colors)

    4. Wedge booties that'll give you a little upward boost without the pain (or inherent fanciness) of a heel. Wedges to the rescue!

    10. A pair of black Hunter boots you've probably had your eyes on ever since you can remember. The bad news is spring showers are coming, but the good news is you can keep your feet dry in these bbs.

Promising review: "These are wonderful boots. My boyfriend bought them for me for Christmas, and I have worn them every day since I opened the box. They are gorgeous, and I have received many compliments on them. I have worn them over leggings and jeans without an issue. Originally, I thought wearing them over jeans would be tough because of my athletic calves, but after wearing them for about 20 minutes, the material relaxed a little and they were perfect. They have not stretched out, just relaxed. I have the matte black and they are not scuffing or showing any kind of wear despite being worn every day for the last 10 days or so. They have good traction too, so they even stood up to walking on ice." —okcgirlonabudget

Promising review: "The Large Le Pilage Tote is my absolute favorite bag. I bought mine about four years ago and it is still in good condition, despite everyday use. I have used my Le Pilage Tote as a 'backpack' in college, a purse on weekends, and even as an overnight bag for last minute trips. I love the material, because unlike my other bags, the Le Pilage is durable in all types of weather. I don't have to worry about a rainy day ruining the bag or my belongings and I have spilled water inside the bag (numerous times) and it drys rather quickly." —PostGradPrep
