Today on the 2nd of February, in 1979 Sid Vicious, the bass player in the notorious band the Sex Pistols died of a heroin overdose when he was only 21. The previous day he had just been released out of prison for stabbing his girlfriend Nancy. Theories range. Some people thought it was suicide but Jerry Only, the bass player in Misfits, he claimed to be with Sid on the the night that he died and said that it wasn't suicide. Sid had took heroin of his mum and he was found dead in his apartment later that day. The Sex Pistols were only together for 2 years yet they changed the face of punk for the entire world. R.I.P. Sid Vicious. The man the myth the legend.
