There are so many baby things to buy, so that as a new mom myself, I was overwhelmed. What will I actually use?

I anxiously strolled through the vastness of the internet, trying to figure out what things will help me in this new journey of motherhood and which ones I should avoid.

So when the Reddit user Jumpy_Neighborhood10 asked "What’s a baby item you got as a new mom and regret it?", the r/Mommit community didn't disappoint. The responses vary from hilarious to frustrating, where some things are still sitting in the garage, while others are acting as expensive hangers. 1. "Wipes warmer. We had a winter baby so I thought that would be nice, but it was too big to fit in our changing station so we ended up not really using it and baby was fine without."- stellar_angel

"Same! We received and purchased SO MANY pacifiers. Probably at least two dozen of them. My daughter only used pacifiers for two weeks, then figured out they provide no food and would scream the instant she got one. We’d try it once every week or two after that until she was around three months old, then we tossed them."

"Yeah Lovevery is is such an expensive way to do Montessori. The whole philosophy behind Montessori is to teach the child with everyday objects and being resourceful. I almost signed up because the marketing is so good, but ended up just seeing what they put in the boxes and trying to replicate it in a more cost effective way lol."
