Five Movies That Can Choke

A list of some of the movies I absolutely hate in no particular order. There's no theme to this or anything. This is just the first five movies that came to mind.

1. Neighbors 2: Sorority Rising

Via clotureclub.com

Rotten Tomatoes Score: 62%

My Thoughts: Sixty-two percent is WAY too high for this film. I loved the first Neighbors movie. Hell, I have it on Blu-ray. Despite some of its flaws, I thought it was a hilarious movie. This, however, is the complete opposite. Not only was it completely unnecessary, it was downright bad. I only laughed TWICE in the entire ninety-two minute runtime of this cash grab. I have nothing against Chloe Grace Moretz, she's in some of my favorite movies (Let me in, Kick-Ass, Hugo), but her character, Shelby, is insufferable. There are parts in this movie where she, along with the other girls in the sorority, is faced with the possibility of losing the sorority house... and I... felt... NOTHING. In fact, a huge part of me hoped she would lose the house. That's how much I disliked this character. However, I will say that I loved every character from the first Neighbors... that's about all the positivity I can spare for this.

2. Annie (2014)

Rotten Tomatoes Score: 27%

My Thoughts: Every single person in this cast... is better than this. This movie is unnecessary, cheesy, and painfully unrealistic (Seriously, the amount of crap that happens that would never ever happen in real life is BAFFLING. The amount of luck this random little orphan has is mind numbingly absurd). AND WHO ON GOD'S GREEN EARTH THOUGHT IT WOULD BE A GOOD IDEA FOR CAMERON DIAZ TO SING? WHO?

3. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (2014)

Rotten Tomatoes Score: 22%

My Thoughts: This movie has been dragged by its hair from here to Antarctica, but I'm still going to complain about it. First off, Megan Fox as April O'Neil? Seriously? Second, HOLY STEROIDS DO THESE TURTLES LOOK UGLY. Just look at these things. Third, the main conflict... is stupid. The villain's plan... is stupid. My fourth issue is with us, the viewing audience. Stop giving Michael Bay your money. Please stop. This movie was horrid and it almost QUADRUPLED its budget. This is why we can't have nice things.

4. Suicide Squad

Rotten Tomatoes Score: 25%

My Thoughts: Messy editing, underwhelming dialogue, underdeveloped characters, nonsensical plot. This gem has it all. Unlike the other movies on this list, I was looking forward to seeing this. I ordered my ticket on Fandango for its opening weekend, bought a Harley Quinn shirt to wear to the theatre, and came to the theatre early to get good seats. I did all of that... just to be disappointed. This is another movie that's been dragged from hell to back, so there isn't much I can say that you haven't heard already. Just know that I hated this. Also, I love Cara Delevingne, I really do, she seems like the most BADASS person, but I do not care for her acting. I don't like her in Paper Towns and I don't like her in this.

5. Mean Girls 2

Via fanfest.com

Rotten Tomatoes Score: 50%

My Thoughts: My dears... Lindsay Lohan didn't deserve this. Rachel McAdams didn't deserve this. Amanda Syfried didn't deserve this. Lacey Chabert didn't deserve this. Tina Fey didn't deserve this. Amy Poehler didn't deserve this. NO ONE from the first Mean Girls deserved this. THE WORLD didn't deserve this. In conclusion... it's awful, y'all.
