Choose An Icon In Each Color And See What Decade You Should Have Grown Up In

Maybe you actually were born in the 90s. If so, you’re probably quite happy about it. So much good viewing came out of that decade. You’re probably still catching up on stuff your parents wouldn’t let you watch, as well as enjoying repeats of childhood favorites. If you weren’t born in the 90s, then it must be your good taste that’s led you here.

1990s

There’s just something about the 70s that you identify with, and you don’t wait for an excuse to dress up 70s style. It seems to be the decade that had it all going on. Every now and then, a new song or film comes out that you like, and then you realize it’s a remake of something from the 70s. Seems you were born with one foot in the past.

1970s

You can’t explain your fascination with this era. Any time you feel like escaping from present day, this is the decade your imagination is headed for. It was the decade the first catwoman made it out of the comic books onto the screen. It all seemed so much more fun and optimistic back then. They had the best cartoons, best TV shows. They must’ve had to be good to even get on TV, with only three channels to choose from. Seems like light years ago.

1960s

Anything made in the 50s, inspired by the 50s in any way, is right up your street. So many great things were started in the 50s, like Kermit the Frog, who was turquoise back then, and muppets had mob connections.

1950s

This truly was the golden age, at least of cinema. Men knew how to treat a woman, and is it any wonder? They weren’t short of muses to inspire. Such a romantic and creative time. The Chronicles of Nárnia were set in this era, as was Roger Rabbit.

1940s

The decade when Santa started drinking Cola and wearing red. Also the decade film came into color. Wouldn’t it have been amazing to be take part in this magical time? If fact you’re into all things old and love your period dramas, but there’s something extra special about the 30s.
