11 Things You May Not Have Done In "Destiny" Yet

The end of the story is just the beginning of the game. Find Easter eggs, complete objectives, and run those raids!

1. Melee some Cursed Thralls and complete the Urn of Sacrifice bounty.

After you complete the story missions in The Dark Below expansion, you can buy the Urn of Sacrifice from Xûr, which will require a sequence of bounty quests that culminate in some pretty advanced armor (depending on your Guardian class). It can be risky business, but it’s also a fun challenge in the post-story game.

2. Greet your ship as it glides into the Tower Hangar.

One of the many great Easter eggs in the Tower are the ships in the hangar, which are accurate depending on which Guardians are there — so you and your fireteam can all go down and check out your sweet rides as they come in for a landing.

3. Find all 20 golden loot chests.

Each of the four worlds has five loot chests that you can collect. Each chest offers a "specific succession of rewards regardless of the order that the chests are opened." You can track how many chests you've found on the World Map.

4. Get serious ups using the Post Master roof fan.

This is a particularly jarring experience when it's discovered while you're minding your own business sitting on the roof and some stranger blasts you up into the sky like a n00b (not that that's happened to anyone here...). The fan is activated from the balcony on the north side of Tower Watch.

5. Start boning up on your Grimoire history.

If you are dying for any/every piece of story you can get from Destiny, Grimoire is where it's at post game. Grimoire cards are acquired throughout the game by completing various objectives. You can access the cards by signing into the Destiny Companion site. The cards give you a deeper look into the world of Destiny and some give mods for in-game play.

6. Go talk to some bones at the old loot cave.

There is a cave on Earth in the Skywatch area where some smart players farmed legendary loot when Destiny first launched. The farm has been patched with a pile of bones which — when prompted — say, "A million deaths are not enough for Master Rahool." #RIP loot cave.

7. Level up all three Guardian classes.

It’s hard to know the difference between the three classes if you don’t play them. Leveling up all three is a great way to get to know which you prefer. For a little extra challenge, you should level up each of your Guardians’ subclasses as well to optimize your skill set.

8. Get your raid crew ready.

Obviously these raids are amazing for gaining loot, but they also progress the story and look amazing. They are the pinnacle of post-game gameplay and allow for a fireteam of six players. So go start dancing on some people in the Tower and make friends. The Vault of Glass can be accessed at Level 26, and Crota's End is available (with The Dark Below expansion) at level 30.

9. Kick around the soccer ball or the purple orb thing.

Stumbling upon these Easter eggs in the Tower Watch is easy and can contribute to some pretty effortless entertainment when you’re waiting for your fireteam to arrive. They hold as much significance in the game as they do in real life (which is as much as you’re willing to devote to them).

10. Go sparrow surfing.

11. Discover all seven hidden coins in the Tower.

We aren't exactly sure what these coins signify, but the number seven is a big deal for Bungie. Finding all of the coins without the help of the internet is close to impossible. Or is it...?
