Fried Ice Cream seems to be a sensation that took over summer. As I walked the streets of New York, all I noticed was vendors and stores all selling different types of fried ice cream. Although I noticed all of these, it never seemed like a number one priority for me to try it. I was very intrigued by the idea of this wonderful idea, but I didn’t get to experience it until a few months ago.

My first experience was obviously at Sam’s Fried Ice Cream. I ordered the Cookies and Cream flavored because it’s obviously the best flavor, haha! As I observed it, all you can tell is that it looked like a fried ball. I used my spoon to try and get a good scoop but it was harder than I expected. It wasn’t rock solid hard but you had to put some energy if you wanted that first bite! After I finally tried it, I was shocked! It was so tasty! It had the crunchy outer goodness of anything that was fried and the sweet cold taste of ice cream instead.

Some may say it’s an acquired taste, but it’s just something new I decided to try and liked. The odd thing about this was that I couldn’t finish one order by myself! I had a friend who helped me and we still couldn’t finish. His exact words was, “Oh my god, I’m just full but it’s so GOOD!” I know ice-cream lovers from all around the world are judging me now. "How could you not finish ice-cream!?!" In my heart, i really wanted to finish it, but my stomach told me I was full! I need to publicly apologize~

If you ever decide to try Sam’s Fried Ice Cream or any fried ice cream store, I guarantee you….you will not regret it!

If this post does interest you, i'd like to also include a recipe to make your very own fried ice cream!

--You will need...to form a 4oz. of French Vanilla into a ball.

--Then you would roll the ball of ice cream into a cinnamon sugar mixture until it's coated.

Afterwards, you would add the corn flake crumbs ti until it's coated again.

--You would then place it in the freezer to harder

--Lastly, you just fry the ice cream ball in a frier 350 degrees farenheit for a few seconds!
