First, Chelsea at Making Home Base created Valentine's card toppers.

Here's how she did it.

Collect your materials: card stock cut to about 1" x 1 1/2", twine (she used red and white twine from Twinery), glue, scraps of felt, washi tape, and toothpicks or plastic sticks.

For a triangle shape: Roll your clay into a burrito shape. Use a knife or pizza cutter to flatten your clay. Then cut your clay at a diagonal, making a series of triangle shapes. Mold your triangles and stick toothpick into the bottom.

For a square shape: Repeat the steps for a triangle and press two of them together to make a square. Bake your toppers according to the directions on the package (hers took about 15 minutes). Allow to dry and decorate your party treats!
