Martin shared his experiences during a vegetarian diet on a page depressionthewayout.com. Martin said the vegan diet he was living had had a positive impact on his mental health in just seven days. "I realized that my diet was affecting my mental health and the way my brain worked," he said. In just seven days of adopting a vegan diet, Martin felt his mood grew more positive. They also feel full of energy, are more focused on the present (mindfulness), and are better able to control their thoughts and behavior. What Martin felt was also experienced by a woman named Jane Green. When he was 14 years old he was diagnosed with a pannick attack. After years of struggling with his mental breakdown, he met nutritionist Autumn Bates who had brought about a big change in his life, just when he was 23 years old. A nutritionist, Bates has also struggled with anxiety disorders. He won thanks to rearranging the diet he lived in.
