Philadelphia Sweet Chilli And Lime Chicken Open Sandwich

60g Philadelphia Cream Cheese with Sweet Chilli

1 lime, zest and juice

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon smoked paprika

½ teaspoon cayenne pepper

½ teaspoon dried oregano

½ teaspoon dried thyme

½ teaspoon salt

1½ tablespoons olive oil

1 red chilli, deseeded and finely chopped

2 tablespoons olive oil

½ teaspoon salt

¼ teaspoon black pepper

2 chicken breasts, thinly sliced


1 avocado, thinly sliced

2 slices of sourdough

To serve

Wedges of lime


1. Start by marinating your chicken. In a medium bowl, add the chicken, garlic powder, smoked paprika, cayenne pepper, dried oregano, dried thyme, salt, and ½ tablespoon olive oil. Stir to combine. Cover and refrigerate for 10 minutes.

2. Place a frying pan over a low-medium heat and add 1 tablespoon of oil. Allow to heat and add the chicken. Cook for 4–5 minutes or until cooked through. Remove from the pan.

3. Next, it’s time to build your open sandwich. Start by spreading 30g of Philadelphia Sweet Chilli over each slice of sourdough. Next add lettuce, half an avocado, and chicken. Finish with a squeeze of lime.

4. Serve and enjoy!
