Billy Corgan, the singer and songwriter of the iconic '90s rock band The Smashing Pumpkins, confirmed to People earlier this week that he and his girlfriend Chloe Mendel welcomed their first child, Augustus Juppiter Corgan, on November 16th.
Corgan, seen here dressed up like a nun with Marilyn Manson, is a first-time father at 48.
Mendel, 22, is the daughter of Gilles Mendel, the head designer of the luxury fashion house J. Mendel.
Mendel was actually born the same year the Pumpkins' breakthrough album Siamese Dream was released.
She's also a year younger than Frances Bean Cobain, the daughter of Corgan's ex-girlfriend Courtney Love and his professional rival, Kurt Cobain.
