It's just a scenic two-hour drive north, and the mountain range that surrounds the site is gorgeous.

7. Experience the cultural history of the Makah Indian Reservation in Washington...

8. Let your imagination take flight along the Enchanted Highway in North Dakota...

The 32-mile highway is decorated with gigantic scrap metal sculptures — the largest in the world.

...en route to Theodore Roosevelt National Park.

...then drive all day to catch the sunset in Key West.
